Entrusted Hope

Tasuki is still trying to defeat Nakago but is forced back by Nakago's chi. Chichiri is still looking after Miaka in the background. Nakago then spends several minutes rambling on about how futile opposing him is and how Yui has already made her wish and that he is now a  God and asks if Tasuki wants to be the first one to die by his hand as a God.

Tasuki then is all sad and serious and says that he will soon join Nuriko and Chiriko. He is about to charge at Nakago when Chichiri stops him with his staff and he says that he was taught not to be so rash and that they should not visit Mitsukake  and Hotohori without bringing a gift with them (Nakago’s life). Tasuki says that Chichiri is speaking his language and after deciding that when they are done Chirchiri will buy the first round of drinks they get ready to attack.

Chichiri on the left and Tasuki on the right. They are just about to charge at Nakago when Miaka starts saying the summoning spell. They are all shocked and stop to look at Miaka who is glowing red. She slowly rises still chanting the summoning spell and is now glowing with the seven celestial warriors. Nakago realises that Yui has betrayed them and has given Miaka the power to summon Suzaku.

Seiryuu who is still hanging around the buildings is faced with a bright Red light as Suzaku the big bird comes down from the sky. Keisuke who sees this becomes all twinkly-eyed because the red light means there is hope.

The two gods start to attack each other and buildings start to fall. Everybody starts running for cover. Keisuke and Tetsuya are trying to figure out what to do and Keisuke tells Tetsuya to go back and save himself as he runs off. Tetsuya is all affronted that he was left behind and says that his name is in the book too and that he is going to help. He runs towards the destruction and screams as something explodes beside him
Back to Nakago (some awesome battle music starts playing) he is attacked by a fire blast. Now that Suzaku has been summoned the seal on their powers have been broken. Nakago dodges by jumping on top of a building and Chirchiri shows up behind him and using his staff channels his powers to split the builiding in half. While telling Nakago that now that they have their powers there is no way for him to win.

Nakago laughs and questions if that is really true. Because coupling with the beast god means that they will sacrifice their life and that is why Yui did not want her friend to go through with it. Tasuki and Chichiri turn to Miaka as she disappears into the red. Miaka then comes face to face with a human shaped Suzaku. He introduces himself and asks if she was the one who summoned him. He will grant the wishes if she couples with him and then she can use his holy power for three wishes. Miaka thinks about Yui doing this for her and risking her life to let Miaka use her wishes to fulfill Yui’s wish of saving the world and everyone.
Miaka comes back to the real world and has a determined look on her face. Seiryuu dragon is busy destroying buildings and Miaka looks at it and says 'Kaiching' and uses her first wish to bring Yui back to her. Yui appears naked in a bubble and talks to Miaka and is told to come back to the real world. Yui feels warm and worries that Miaka is mad with her but Miaka tells her that she will yell at her later and the Yui bubble slowly floats down to the earth.

Keisuke sees Yui and says that she will land near here so Tetsuya goes running like a mad man to catch her and goes crashing to the ground while holding her. His glasses are askew so we can finally see his eyes and he says that when he does something he does it right and that since his name is in the book there is no way to get around it. Keisuke tells Tetsuya to take his clothes off to give something to cover Yui with. They argue over that because it’s cold.
Back to Miaka who falls to her knees in pain. Chichiri and Tasuki run up to her and she wonders if the pain is the beast god devouring her. Nakago who is watching the whole thing thinks to himself  “This girl’s stupidity never ceases to amaze me.” He says that she knew what would happen and that in her weaken state probably wouldn’t even survive another wish. Miaka is clutching her sides and we can see red welts on her back like wing marks. She reaches out to Chichiri and asks them to lend her strength so that her heart is not devoured

Tasuki asks if she can walk before he and Chichiri are blown away by Nakago’s blast. He says that he will send all three to their companions when she is devoured by the beast god. Nakago sends a boulder flying at her and Chichri yells out to her as Miaka cowers. Nuriko pops up and stops the boulder. Everybody is shocked to see him there with his gauntlets glowing. He complains about having to do all the heavy work.
 Nakago then sends cars flying at them but that attack is stopped by Hotohori who shows up with his sword and symbol glowing on his neck. Miaka is all like how you died. And Hotohori is just like so we meet again. Tama the cat is climbing on Chichiri’s shoulder and he looks over and sees Mitsukake there and he asks if Tama has been a good boy. Chiriko is also there and Tasuki is all excited. “chiriko you’re ok” and he replies that he did die. We zoom out to see Tasuki hugging Chiriko and the whole gang  being friendly and Miaka flings herself at Nuriko who says that they will have time to talk later. Hotohori agrees and says they must first defeat the villain. Nuriko then asks where Tamahome is.

We then flash to a church where everybody is in tuxedos waiting for Tamahome to come out. He complains about the suit being too tight and while blushing asks Keisuke if he looks ok. Hotohori says he can afford to not be the center of attention for today at least. Tasuki has made a sign that reads: “Miaka and Tamahome finally ‘Tying the Knot’ by Tasuki” He then yells out that clothes make the man and that white suit makes the ghost. After getting pummelled by Tamahome, Chichiri says that he shouldn’t have said that

Tetsuya says that he should see miaka in the wedding dress and Yurien pops her head out too and agrees with Tetsuya and Tamahome says he’ll see it later. He then goes flying forward as Nuriko (who’s dressed in a red suit with frills) gives him a pat on the back. After getting yelled at to control his strength we see Coreen wishing him a good wedding. Tamahome kneels down and says that she looks  very nice in her dress like little girls do and not like poser boy here. He then gets punched by Nuriko.

Hothori then gets everybody to get pictures so that he can take photos for Houki who can’t attend because she is pregnant. Mitsukake asks how she is and that the last months will seem the longest. Tamahome then wanders off in search of his father and sees his lil brother who is busy calculating the expense of food and alcohol and how the only people that he can count on to help pay for the wedding is Tetsuya and his highness.
He finally finds his father who is saying that there is no need to rush on such an important day. Tamahome has a seat beside him and they talk about how he was teased as a little boy. He said the symbol was his star of destiny and that he is now a celestial warrior and a source of great pride for the family. Tamahome says they should get back to the others and his father says how proud he is of Tamahome and how he is so much more then he could ever hope. We then here the warriors calling for Tamahome and his father asks him to listen carefully and asks him to listen closely. He then hears Miaka call him and the church scene disappears and he is now back in his torn outfit and his father asks if he can stay when the priestess is calling. His family says goodbye and his father tells him to go back to Miaka.

Nakago is blowing things up and is complaining about the friendship they have and how annoying it is. Tamahome then throws a life force blast screaming Nakago. Nakago complains that he thought he was dead. Tamahome says that it wasn’t his time and that his father knew.

We then zoom out of a picture with Seiryuu behind Nakago and Suzkau behind Tamahome as they stare down and prepare for battle.
