Rosemary and I started our jouney to Georgia, a mission to pick up my grandangel, Ashley, and bring her to Texas, on 22 May 2003. We were headed for Dadeville, AL to visit with nana74 aka lil imp and spend the night there with her. It took us over 13 hours to get to the exit and then found out we were over 30 miles away from nana's house……LOL…..We were SO tired!!! We spent the night at nana's lovely home on Lake Martin. She had prepared a delicious meal for us when we arrived and as a special treat, there was coconut crème pie for dessert. YUMMY ! My friend, lazybee came over from her home on the lake and had supper with us and it was so good to see her…..nana and lazybee were the first two chatters I met in person. The next day, we awoke to the sun coming up over the lake….what a beautiful site. That afternoon, we ate lunch at Niffer's…….outside on the deck. What a great time we had. It was then time to travel on to LaGrange, GA where my family was patiently awaiting our arrival…..everyone was patient except for Ashley ..LOL…..She had been counting down the days to go to Texas. We arrived in Bay St Louis on Tues., 27 May 2003. Coachken and Dowa were camping out at Buckaneer State Park. WOW……that is a great place and really friendly people there. We spent the night with Ken and Rita and had a good visit with them. |
