Laura's Easy Fat Text Tutorial
Open a new image, about 250 x 250
Select two of your favorite colors or patterns and set them in your fore & background palette.
Flood fill your image with your first color or pattern.
Select the text tool and apply your name in any font size and style you like. ( I used Amazone BT, Size 48)
Flood fill the text selection with your second pattern or color.
Go to Selections > Modify > Expand. (Number of pixels 1 or 2)
Now click Edit > Copy.
Edit > Paste as new image.
This result is very cute in itself! But for an extra bubbly look, apply an inner bevel.
Effects > 3d effects > Inner bevel
