يرنو إلى شهر و ينطوي ربيع
أمي و أنت زهر في عطره أضيع
و إذ أقول أمي أفتن بي أطيب
يرف فوق همي جناح عندليب
أمي  نبض قلبي نداي إن وجعت
و قبلتي و حبي أمي إن ولعت
عيناكِ ما عيناكِ أجمل ما كوكب في الجلد

Mother Oh My Angel, My love that will remain forever

The wisdom of Said Akl , the poet who wrote this song , stands beyond the stream of the current arabic culture , and since the early forties of the last century , Said AKL has proven himself to be a phenomena more than a poet , and until now I still enjoy his show on TELE LUMIERE , and he written to Fairouz most of her most Known songs , and this particular song might be the most Known "mother's day" song in Lebanon , and the most beautiful in arabic litterature due to its meanings and of course to the fact that it was spread by the voice of Fairouz .

From all my heart I wish to every mother in the world the most of Joy and happiness , because what a mother gives is unparalleled in love , in generosity , and in faith in the future of the human race , "Thank you Mother , I love you"
