Rome ! And Master of Rome
The one with the never ending army
River of blood , that springs from war
Which leaves behind him nothing but murder , theft and crucifixion
You are the death bridge that spreads from east to west
Rome! you shall be followed by the curses of the defeated populations
And of the burned cities
And a day shall come where you will destroy yourself and suicide
You shall be torn apart from inside,
And your vineyards will become open to every thief
I can see the horses coming from the land of the barbarians
And the meadows of Mongolia
Neighing in your palaces
Not now , but in a century , in two centuries
You shall be crushed by the chariots of time , and the populations that will

And you shall be broken like a tree , destroyed like a thorn
In front of the wind
"Petra" , the flower of the southern Jordan , now stands tall with her majestic Roman Remnants , a witness to a time of war and peace. The Rahbani Brothers Chose this city , that fought against the Roman occupation , and defeated the roman tyranny, to make this classical theater piece , a lesson to the nations that want to raise a proud generation , a free generation that will make the future , that will love her neighbors and don't stab her brothers in the back , and in the beginning of the 22nd century , we can see that the Arab nations that were brought up on the songs of the Rahbani Bros , and their values are now the ones who refuse occupation , nations with a proud past and a respectful future , and the Arab nations that were fed by only money and fast food and oil , are now under the shoes of strangers , not only that but stabbing their neighbors in the back .
In this play , the emperor Neron is starting to build the "Castle of Gold" , thus he was sending his army to occupy nations and steal their treasures to build his castle with .
Petra , the Flower of the South stands against him , and wins the war , and when the roman spies kidnap the daughter of the king and try to Blackmail the Queen Shakila , and demand to tell the king to retreat or his daughter will be killed , the Queen chooses not to tell the king and choose her nation over the life of her daughter .And Petra Wins the war.
A lesson to many Arab leaders who put their wealth before their nation . yet today we see the opposite , the leaders of the east have chosen occupation and NONE except that HOLY MAN in the VATICAN was brave enough to condemn that war and say it loud "this war is not ethical".
Back to the play , it traces the beginning of the end of the End of the Roman empire , a story stop at and think , the year 64 After Jesus Christ , the emperor Neron sends his soldiers to burn Rome , mainly the poor districts in the city those near his palace , to which he wants to add more buildings , and he needs someone to blame .
For few years now in Rome there was a little group , they call themselves "Followers of the Road" or "Christians" they are preaching of a GOD that doesn't live in stones of human buildings , a GOD other than the emperor , a GOD that teaches to LOVE and NEVER TO KILL , they seemed to be the perfect subjects to Neron's accusations , "the Christians burned Rome" .
And with Neron started 3 centuries of persecution of Christians , they were killed , murdered , and thrown to Lions to eat them alive , Because they refused to worship any thing but THE ONE GOD . And with the Act of Neron was the first sign of the death of the roman empire , the act of auto-mutilation , a nation that is failing her people , the tax payers , who don't believe in their leaders any more , the leaders that don't represent them any more , those who rule them , because by natural accident they happened to be of the spring of a leader who gave them freedom one day , the people is now awake , in order to survive the ruler need to throw fear in the hearts of his enlightened subjects , he does any thing , he mutilates his nation , destroys his capital , and may he won't stop from destroying his Towers of Money power , and to accuse any one , in order to create a fictive enemy , to regain power over the minds of his people.
The Rahbanis present in contrast to that , a dynasty in Petra that was not afraid of destroying its own offspring , in order to keep its nation's freedom , hopefully someday our people will learn these values and choose a leader who believes in these values .
And let's look 2000 years after this story , we see the same things , great nations auto-mutilating themselves in order to survive , creating wars for money , for oil that will be sold out for more money , and people who are a little short of making history , we ask why ? But the answer has been said , and written 2000 years ago when the SON OF MAN said it simply :"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and money." (Matt 6:24) And every war is started by those who worship money .
From here starts the Rahbani question about , money , war ,and freedom of nations , a question that they have answered in many works , and it is up to us to understand it now.
Time for us to choose to decide and to teach the generations to
come that it is the people that makes his own destiny not the lords of money ,
the masters of banks .
