The Stuffies reformed in 2000 and played various places in the UK - lovely old indie.
Check out the superb Badly Drawn Boy. Did you know that he wrote the music to Born in the USA when he was 2 years old?! The site is always being updated and his label Twisted Nerve has a fab site too.
The White Stripes are fab both on CD and live.
Weezer are one of my fave all time bands (who I finally got to see summer 2002). The website has loads on it, including old videos and all. Make sure you check out their Muppets video (Kermit singing along in a Weezer t-shirt - wow).
To stay up to date with all the new indie releases (and Punk, Rock, Experimental, Dance, etc etc) I'd recommend signing up to the Piccadilly Records emailing list - and they send you little clips of everything around.
