OPOS
(i think opos
is supposed to mean big immovable rock in greek)
Memoirs
of the great times we had together during
RJC
Orientation'98
We
came as strangers and left as friends, bonded by that few days where we
'suffered' the flour, waterbombs, mud and the blazing sun
A group photo that we took
at our Axium.
Facing a whole group of strangers during the first
day of Orientation at RJC was scary, but friendships were formed when we
started painting the banners and going out to Ghim Moh or Holland Village
for lunch and sometimes dinner everyday.Led by OTeam Leaders Rangga
and OniQ (hee!), and metions Adam and Ratna, we cheered, we
danced and we had a whale of a time!I remember how we used to gather every
morning at the Axium at the Specs Gallery to practise our mass dance,
moan and groan about being stressed up over the release of the O Level
results, or just catching up on some gossip. And the times when we went
as an Ax to Taka Square for lunch or dinner, buying 4 value meals
from Mac's to get 'free 20 piece chicken McNuggets' only to find that ALL
the nuggets will be eaten up by the greedy guys. ;o)
let me see if i get the names
right...

Need I say that the mass dance was super?! Love it!
And also the J1 BBQ at East Coast Park.......doing the mass dance
together, sitting on the beach watching the waves lap at the shore, playing
truth or dare, the smells of burnt chicken wings and marshmallows, teasing
Onique about SOMEONE.....=)Though now we don't meet up every morning, I
must say that it's really nice to have known you people. You guys were
my first friends in RJC.....and that is something I treasure a lot.
