Stuff That Rocks!

Hotshots and Hotshots Part Deux - one of the only cases where the sequel is better than the original. Plus Charlie Sheen is an ultradude.

Guitars - I wish I had one that actually worked but then again, I did get given my current one by a neighbour for free.  It's actually worse than my old one because it doesn't even stay in tune.  At least, that's my excuse.

Eamon Holmes and crew.

The mods.  Well, one. ;)

Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Sparklehorse, Sigur Ros, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, R.E.M., The Beatles and Weezer...  Out of those, I've seen Radiohead and Sigur Ros.  Everyone else is either inaccessible or dead.  Well, both I guess since dead people are generally not accessible. Or the bands have  split. I've also seen Supergrass, Humphrey Lyttelton, Beck, Rock Of Travolta and Hester Thrale but that was mostly pants because Beck only played an acoustic set and Supergrass couldn't hack being a support act to Radiohead...lol.  Rock Of Travolta excellent.  I also quite like Aphex Twin, Bjork, Brian Eno and Boards of Canada.  I also have a thing for Drum 'n' Bass (what is it about me, liking things I can't compare with? Having said that, my A2 Composition was quite a good imitation of Drum 'n' Bass =p)

Fantastic computer games like Sonic The Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros... Lemmings is also classic.   Flash animations are great, I just wish they weren't filtered at our school because they
are educational.  Icy tea ski kills, man. ' Xiao Xiao 3' is amazing - deserved a mention.  It was created by Zhu Zhq and you can view it here. You can also play the game here! How cool is that?

I also admit to liking Superman, Batman, Spiderman and cartoons like Ovide, Madeline, Card Captors(!!), Kipper The Dog (the music, people - it's the classiest cartoon I've ever seen!) And those classic Roadrunner and Tom and Jerry things.  Kid's TV is cool dammit....... I wish they'd show He-Man again.  I used to have some He-Man trousers when I was little.  They had plastic bits on them.

Making music like what I've featured on my site....although the stuff on here is really just a joke - it's really bad! I've just finished (well, started, really)  recording an acoustic cover version of  Weezer's 'In The Garage'.  It's quite good.  It's better than my version of 'Say It Ain't So' anyway...  And yesterday I recorded a cover of Sparklehorse's 'Maria's Little Elbows'....  Yes, one day I will put something original up... I've been planning it for a while :)  Now all my coursework's in, I think I'll put u
p some of the midi files I made.  Just so you can laugh.  Then you can predict my grade for me, heh.

Last night (23rd May 02) I played my first proper gig (excluding the one to the fascists of AskersHell).  Shaky start, but it got so much better.  You can listen to it here (thanks Mike), and if you ask very nicely then I will give you a copy of it on CD.

Do you like pie?  Then lookie here!  My fave one is 'Bull'. :)
