*Hi everybody. As I write this *update* it's been four years since I first built this site. I might one day make another site, but I feel that "falling is like this" is a little snapshot of Julie at a pretty poignant point in my life -- being 17, struggling to survive in an environment that was sucking out my soul. High school is a vague memory now, that I'm grateful for because it helped shape me, but I've grown so much since then, in ways I wouldn't have been able to believe when I was working on this page. And now, the place where I grew up is and always will be "home" but its definition and feeling have changed dramatically for me. I love my family, I love my past, but for a long time now I've been looking ahead while being grateful for from where I've come. Enjoy this site anyways. 10 february 2006
