!BIRTH: Somerset House certificate. Name Fanny Widdowson.
!BAPTISM: Nottingshire Conference LDS records (roll 087026)
Family records shows baptismal date at 1843 (1850 may be re-baptism).
Baptized by Brewerton.
!DEATH: Obituary in Wyoming Press, Evanston, Wyoming, 6 January, 1900 in
section for "News from Almy" (on record in public library in Evanston):
"Mrs.Goddard, aged eighty, died here on the 29th of December and was
buried on New Years Day." (Family records are incorrect, 1 year early.)
BURIAL: There are no existing sexton records for the Almy cemetery. Fanny's
grave is not marked, but most graves in the Almy cemetery are unmarked, and
there is no reason to believe she is not in the Almy cemetery, probably in
the southwest area.
To reach Almy cemetery, take Wyoming state highway 89 north from Evanston.
Almy road 107 forks west from Wyoming 89 and then runs parallel. Cemetery
is on the west wide of Almy road 107. Mostly open country around it.
Southwest corner contains Hutchinson graves. (Fanny was apparently living
with family of granddaughter Frances Goddard Hutchinson.)
