March 1, 2002 - Big Brother 3
I notice that at CBS's web site, they are asking for people to apply for Big Brother 3. So it looks like it's going to happen.
With the commitment CBS are making to Amazing Race 2 and Survivor in general, it seemed very unlikely that they were going to go through the summer without a reality show. And bringing a well known, cheap to make show like Big Brother back makes more sense than creating a new reality show for the summer.
December 21, 2001 - Amazing Race 2 Meets Big Brother 2
As hard as this is to believe, CBS had "conversations" about putting Krista and Mike "Boogie" from Big Brother 2 in the Amazing Race 2. But at the last minute, Mike decided he didn't want to do it, even though Krista did. This in part led to them breaking up. The wedding is off.
(Krista also said, "Mike's a great guy, but it's not the same as it was in the house.")
This shows us that CBS might have a surprise or two in store for us with the casting of Amazing Race 2.
This information was in the November 16 Entertainment Weekly.

September 22, 2001 - Will Wins Big Brother
Okay. I thought Will would win Big Brother. I was right about that. But, I was wrong about who would vote for who. Really wrong.
Kent voting for Will??!! That was a big surprise. He really must not have wanted Nicole to win. In fact, I think the voting showed that Nicole really wasn't liked too much at all by the houseguests.
I liked Bunky's vote, in which he told off Will.
And Will gives this speech, in which he hints that there might be something wrong with all of them, and they still vote for him??!! Well, Will is a doctor. He might know what he's talking about.
And Mike (dressed as classy as ever) asking Krista to marry him??!! Did I dream that? That could not have happened.
Well, Big Brother is over now. I really enjoyed it. I don't know if I'll be making anymore postings about it. Certainly, if I hear any more news about Sheryl's fight against cancer, I will. My focus will now be on Amazing Race. By Monday, I'll start to post about that again, on my Amazing Race Page.

September 20, 2001 - The Winner Will Be...
The final Big Brother is on tonight (10 PM Eastern Time). The winner will be picked. Who will it be?
Here's who I think will vote for Will: Shannon, Mike, Krista, and Monica. Four votes.
Here's who I think will vote for Nicole: Sheryl, Kent, Autumn, and Hardy. Four votes.
That's a tie (and, I don't think Justin gets to vote).
But, wait. What about Bunky?
His vote is the wildcard. Normally, I would have thought he'd vote for Nicole. But, after the torture Hardy and Nicole put him through, I'd say he'd now vote for Will.
Unless, he blames Hardy for the torture, and not Nicole.
Still, I think because of this, he won't vote for Nicole. I think he'll vote for Will. And Will will win Big Brother.
Tonight, we will know the real answer.
September 20, 2001 - Lost Episode Online
The episode of Big Brother that CBS were supposed to put on Tuesday night, but didn't, is now available at CBS's Big Brother web site.
This is an interesting move. I'll have to check it out sometime.
September 19, 2001 - Sad Times
There were certainly sad times in the last week. After the bombings in the US, I didn't feel like updating the site. It was a sad time, and it didn't seem to make much sense to update the site, especially since Big Brother wasn't being shown.
I hope everyone who was affected by this can find some peace in their lives.
Even Monica was affected, with her cousin. That certainly was too bad.
Then, last night, we learn that Sheryl has breast cancer. Another sad event. I really hope that things go well for her. It had seemed like she would be a popular member of the Big Brother cast, until she was evicted in the first week as a move against Mike.
Even after Big Brother ends, if I ever find out any news about her, I will put it here. And, hopefully, it will be all good news.
September 19, 2001 - Big Brother and CBS Mistakes Return
It was nice to see Big Brother return last night. Of course, CBS messed things up, as always. Promising a two hour episode, and then not delivering it. Even worse, the eviction wasn't live. We knew on the weekend that Monica was gone. They could have just as easily evicted her live last night.
Why does CBS keep doing these things? Did they really need to put on a Judging Amy rerun, instead of another hour of Big Brother? Why, oh, why...?
September 8, 2001 - Who Will Win Big Brother?
As I look at Monica, Nicole, and Will, I think that they all have a good chance of winning Big Brother if they make it to the Final Two. Maybe Will has less of a chance than the other two, but, it's hard to say who would win it. If it's Monica vs Nicole, it will really be hard to say. Chil Town would vote for Nicole (except for maybe Will). So would Sheryl (most likely). People like Krista, Kent and Bunky should vote for Monica.
However people vote, it should be a close vote in the end.

September 7, 2001 - Will 1, Hardy 0
Will finally got even with Hardy for Hardy getting rid of Shannon. Will promised he'd do it, and, this time it wasn't a lie. Hardy had said in the past that he'd get rid of Will, but, changed his mind on that. (Big Mistake.) Hardy instead decided that people like Kent and Bunky were a bigger threat to him than Will.
Bunky a bigger threat than Will? (Well, Hardy might have been right about that. Bunky wanted Hardy out as much as Will did.)
It must have been very sweet revenge for Will.
Hardy did handle being voted out with real class. He gets points for that.
September 2, 2001 - Real Evil Doctor is CBS
At this point, I know that Monica is HOH. But, finding out what is going on inside the house this weekend from the net has been hard. CBS should have had Big Brother on Saturday night. There's no excuse for this. At this point in the game, you can't take this big a break. Imagine a pro sport in it's play-offs, taking a break from showing some play-off games. It would never happen.
I know they are doing this, so Big Brother can be on three days in a row. This is being done to promote Amazing Race (which this site will be covering on the main page), and not to help Big Brother.
We can see who is the real Evil Doctor when CBS does things like this.
September 1, 2001 - Bully and the Bitch
Bully and the Bitch was Bunky's name for Hardy and Nicole. And maybe more than Bunky feels that way about the two of them. I personally think that Hardy will be the next person voted out. I could be wrong. But, I really doubt that he will win Big Brother, even if he makes it to the Final Two. Hardy keeps talking about strategy. But, all the plans he's come up with have done, is to maybe make him the most hated person in the Big Brother house. More than anyone from Chil Town, I think. People will never vote for him to win Big Brother.
Hardy's big mistake was not taking the deal with Kent. I still think that. His strategy failed him there.
August 15, 2001 - Big Brother Finale Sept. 20
I thought last night's episode was boring. I guess compared to Saturday's one, though, anything would be.
Here are some bits of a Variety article about the ending of Big Brother, written by Michael Schneider:
CBS has scheduled the one-hour ``Big Brother 2'' finale on the first Thursday of the fall TV season, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. That puts the show smack up against the season premiere of ``Friends'' and series debut of NBC comedy ``Inside Schwartz.''
``Big Brother 2's'' $500,000 winner will be revealed that night, as chosen by contestants previously voted off the show. That means the return of banished houseguests including saucy mom Sheryl, whiny Autumn, sexpot Shannon, goofy Mike and cranky Kent.
``Big Brother 2's'' second-to-last episode will air Sept. 13. The show's producers requested that CBS pre-empt the following Saturday and Tuesday episodes.
CBS execs had been waiting to review ``Big Brother 2's'' performance before deciding whether to end the summertime series the week before premiere week.
But the reality series has benefited from a house full of lying, deceitful, backstabbing roommates in recent weeks -- a stark contrast from last year's original ``BB,'' which generated little excitement.
``Once we saw the numbers growing and performing respectably, it was a good option,'' said one CBS exec.
The ``Big Brother 2'' broadcast last Thursday, which featured Kent's dismissal, attracted a season-high 9.7 million viewers. The series, which airs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, has averaged 7.6 million viewers this summer.
August 14, 2001 - Hardy's Mistake?
So, Hardy was fighting all along to help Krista win the money, and now she turns on him, and he turns on her... it's amazing.
Hardy thinks Nicole is for him, but Nicole tells Will that Will is her closest friend. And Will is still planning revenge on Hardy (which Hardy seems to not know). They are really playing Hardy for a fool (unless he really does know what they are doing). If they get their wish, and soon kick Hardy out, maybe that Hardy-Kent-Bunky alliance that Kent wanted will seem a lot more appealing to Hardy. And Kent won't seem bad to Hardy for wanting it.
Gosh, could Hardy have made a mistake dumping Kent and keeping Will? I wonder...
August 13, 2001 - Will Notes
See the swarm of flies around Will outside on the Saturday show? (It was before Krista and Monica called him over, to run him down.)
I guess that makes Will the Lord of the Flies. Very fitting.

August 12, 2001 - "It's On!"
The Saturday night show was the best one yet. Everyone just going crazy, fighting with each other. It was like a soap opera, but, meaner.
So many people betrayed each other, I had a hard time keeping track of who disliked who, and who was allied with who. I think Bunky was getting confused, too.
And yet again, Will was making them look like fools, and laughing to Big Brother about it.
Nicole said she aged 5 years in 24 hours.
Monica said she knows who won't win: the black woman and the gay guy.
It was all very entertaining stuff.
To sum up the show, I think I'll use Monica's words:
"It's On!"
August 11, 2001 - The Nominations (Spoiler)
If you don't know who's nominated yet, don't read this. If you do, or don't care about it spoiling tonight's show, read away.
Okay. I was really -- really -- hoping Nicole would nominate Krista and Monica. The two of them had this alliance, in which they thought they'd be in the house to the end. They'd go against anyone in there to have it happen.
I got my wish. Nicole did it. One of them will be gone. That alliance will end.
Poor Monica isn't handling it too well. What a shame.
I'm hoping Krista goes. If they had any sense, they'd vote her out. I think she's the biggest threat, because of this magic power she seems to have over the men of the house.
And what will CBS do if their Princess gets voted out? Their spin doctors will have to work overtime on a new plan, I guess. Maybe they could try to convince us that Will is really a nice, honest guy. Hey, CBS, the public is dumb. They'll believe anything, right?
August 10, 2001 - Kent and the Freaks
Before, the houseguests had different names on the groups they were in. Chil Town, TOP, the Smokers, are some. Now that Chil Town and the Smokers are together, I think Kent came up with an excellent name for them -- the Freaks. It's just perfect.
August 10, 2001 - Bunky's Choice
I was disappointed in Bunky that he voted against Kent. Kent was the only one in the house friendly with him, and he votes against him. If Bunky had voted to keep Kent, I think everyone would have understood.
I don't think voting against Kent will help Bunky one bit. He's still a marked man. It's too bad he didn't show some respect to his friend.
August 9, 2001 - Big Brother and the Women
It's interesting that the Big Brother tv show let us see Monica's explosion of rage. Nicole's almost daily super-bitching. And it showed us Shannon in a very negative light. But when it comes to Krista, it seems Big Brother can only find positive video of her to show.
Isn't that interesting?
I'm thinking, maybe the pot belly pig has been eating all the film of the negative things Krista is up to. That's the only answer I can come up with. Because we know CBS's producers would never try to trick the viewers with clever editing, would they? Oh no. Not the network that filled the Big Brother house with such classy people.
August 8, 2001 - Kent Takes on Hardy
Wow. Kent stood up to Hardy. Someone really had the guts to stand up to Hardy. Everyone else seem afraid to do it. But Kent took his shot.
Hardy says he wants someone else other than him to win Big Brother. My guess is it's Krista. Probably Hardy will say he wants this so she can use the money to help her daughter. This is my guess.
So, as Kent pointed out, Hardy is a danger to Monica and Nicole. They should team up with Kent and Bunky. Kick Will out this time. And Hardy next time. Even Will admitted to Big Brother that Kent knew what was going on in the house.
It will be interesting to see if Nicole and Monica listen to Kent. Or trust in Hardy's plan.
But, whatever happens, it was fun to see Kent vs Hardy. I'd give Kent the win. Even if he loses on Thursday.
August 7, 2001 - The Look
Of course, my favorite part of Big Brother every week is seeing who will be nominated and then evicted. The best part of that might be learning who it is. But it also might be seeing the look on everyone's faces.
Watching the look on Mike's face when he discovered that Sheryl was evicted was a classic Big Brother moment. Very funny.
This weekend, watching the look on Will's face was interesting, too. He had spent the week becoming friends with Hardy, and then Hardy nominates him, anyway. The first few seconds that Will knew he was nominated, he really looked hurt. For the first time, I felt sorry for him.
August 6, 2001 - Hardy Says...
Hardy says that he doesn't want to win Big Brother. There is someone else he wants to win it, and he's going to do everything he can to help that person win it.
Of course, he said he really disliked everyone in Chil Town, and now he's friends with Will. And he said that he wanted Hardy, Monica, and Krista to be the final three in the house. Now he says he wants Hardy, Nicole, and Krista to be the final three. So, maybe it's best not to listen to everything Hardy says.

August 2, 2001 - Bunky's Prayers
Some mean things happened in Big Brother 2. One of the worst, I thought, was Mike and Will laughing at Bunky when Bunky said a prayer to bless the special meal everyone had. Mike said he thought Bunky did it as a joke. Bunky was very serious, since he's religious. It was a hard thing to watch.
August 1, 2001 - Kent and the Keys
Couldn't Kent have made sure that when he pulled out the first key during the Eviction Nominations, that it was his friend Bunky's? Instead, Bunky's key was the last to be pulled out. I'm sure he received a good torturing for nothing (especially since Kent told him that maybe he'd nominate him).
July 31, 2001 - Did Mike Save Kent?
Mike seems to think that he saved Kent, by not nominating him the first week. But, did he really?
If Mike had picked Kent and Sheryl, and said that he picked Kent because he's hated, and Sheryl because she's loved, he might have had the same results as with Nicole and Sheryl. And, if he picked Kent to face Nicole, Kent might have won that, too.
If he did save Kent, it was a big mistake, since it looks like Kent is going to be the one to get him kicked out. Maybe Mike is more upset with himself than Kent.
July 30, 2001 - One Man Town
It's interesting to watch the members of Chil Town. They went around the Big Brother house, treating TOP like TOP was below them. Like Chil Town was the master, and TOP the lowly subject. Then, people like Mike and Shannon get upset when The Other People pick them to be voted out? It's sort of funny, isn't it?
My question is, when Mike gets voted out, can you have a one man town?
