| Holly was born on 3rd December 1973 in San Diago, California. Her mother Lauralei was just 14 when she became pregnant with Holly. In 1980 when Holly was 7 years old Lauralei and Holly moved to New York so her mother could pursue a career in acting. Holly saw what her mother was doing and wanted to follow in her footsteps. She enrolled in The proffesional childrens school and by the tender age of 10 she was working on tv commercials and featured in magazine ads. Hollys first film role was in Don Johnson's and Susan Sarandon's 'Sweetharts Dance' as Debs Boon. After she featured in a number of low profile movies such as teen slasher flick 'Dr Giggles', but her biggest break was as Kimberly Brock in 'Picket Fences' which got her an emmy nomination for Best Young Actress in a new television series in 1993 and a Young Artist Award. She continued to impress audiences by starring in roles such as the daughter of murdered heiress in the fact based drama 'Daughters', a killer-Diane Zamora in 'Loves deadly Triangle:the texas cadet murder' and a rape victim in 'Sins of Silence' Her next big hit was of course 'Charmed' a new Spelling show that started in 1998 and co-starred She portrays the middle sister with the power to freeze which later grows in to her being able to blow up things! | Trivia! Hollys full name is Holly Marie Combs as her mom thought it sounded rhymthically better. She doesnt mind what people call her but tends to got with her first name Holly as her mom calls her Holly Marie when shes angry! However when she starred in 'Picket Fences' she was mainly called Holly Marie because of her co-stars name Lauren Holly. She said it just saved two people turning round when 'Holly' was shouted. Holly is a tiny 5ft2" tall! She got the scar you see on her right eye brow when she was a toddler. Apparently she was learning to walk and fell hitting her head on a marble table-OUCH!! She has three tattoos! A bracelet on each wrist and a rose on her right shoulder. click here 2 see them She has many hobbies including gardening and horse riding. She has a number of pets which are:- 2 dogs Travis and Hugo, 2 cats Blue and Selena 2 love birds Lollipop and Flower and a horse named Jesse. She has recently got more Lovebirds and 2 more horses. She is a spokesperson for Breast Cancer along with actress Alyson Hannigan with the aim to raise awareness of the disease. |
