Cupcake is another doe that just keeps getting better with age.  She was first place two year old in the District IV Nubian Specialty at Fayette Co.in 2002 and in 2003 she was 1st place 3 yr. old in the District IV Nubian Specialty in Pontiac, Illinois.  In 2004 I didn't show as the plan was to be well prepared for the national show in Pennsylvania, although we didn't make it!  2005 turned out to be no different for Cupcake though, in the few shows she's gone to she's won her 5 and over class all but once, coming in 2nd to a beautiful 8 year old, 8th freshner who also went BOB..  Cupcake was the Reserve Grand Champion in the 2005 District IV Nubian Specialty under Steve Considine winning over several beautiful finished champions not shown in the Champion Challenge class.
Her son Josiah Earl was Grand Champion junior buck in two rings at the 2002 SWODGA show under Karen Senn and Julie Wiesehan.  He went Reserve Grand junior buck under Daniel Considine.  Not bad considering the number of nubian junior bucks at that show!  In 2003 Josiah was shown 5 times, placing 4X's 1st and 1X 2nd.  He was the Reserve Champion Sr. Buck in the District IV Nubian Specialty in Pontaic, but was beaten out by his baby  brother (Cupcake's 2003 buck kid. Fancy Colors CC Excelente) for the Reserve Champion Overall
I guess it's needless to say that although I didn't breed Cupcake, I've owned her since she was just three days old and on that very day I knew she was something special and has been a favorite in my barn ever since!

Ember is an impressive grand lady, and I can't thank Patti Dean and Bill Woodward enough for allowing me an opportunity to add her to my breeding program.

We have learned from them and taken no chances in which direction to go with Ember.  We've AI'ed her back to +*B Accidental Tourist for 2005.  Hopefully we can repeat what they have done with Ember's daughter, GCH Willow Run AT Erazel the 2003 & 2004 National Grand Champion nubian!
