GARDEN FAIRIES
In my garden fairies live
Their special magic to give
On flower petals they dance on tiptoe
They flash their colorful silken wings for show

On butterfly wings of lace they rise
Upon the scented breezes in the skies
Among the sunbeam rays
These enchanted fairies play

From a fragile petal fairy cup
On gentle dewdrops do they sup
On garden edge they live – please don’t tell
The location of their fairy dell

All creatures great and small sing along
To the fairies enchanting hypnotic song
As the leaves in the breeze rustle
Beneath the flowers fairies bustle

Each fairy sports, so they say,
A pointed ear upon which they lay
Fairy magic is a secret thing
Practiced only by those of the fairy ring

Only special guest do they invite
Lucky you if you catch a sight
Quietly take a peek at night
You just might glimpse their special light

The fairies realm is for only a few
Their identity and magic very true
They know your thoughts so you can’t deceive
Fairies are real you must believe

In the flower garden so pure
The fairies live quiet secure
Please do not disturb their special place
Simply let their magic brighten your face
