Mystic
Legends
Epilogue:
In
a far distant galaxy there were two planets.
The planets were Gaea and the blue planet.
Unlike its brother the blue planet, Gaea was inhabited by magical beings.
These beings were known as the draconians.
These angel-winged creatures were the image of a human being except for
their angel-like wings.
They live within the mountainous regions of Gaea on the highest peak in
which they flew about in their magnificent palace of gold and diamonds called
the Mystic Kingdom, ruled by four elders, Ramon, Elgird, Zentar, and Laizer.
Elgird, the wisest and a true philosopher, is the guardian of time.
Zentar is the elder of the stars, Laizer is the guardian of the life
circle, and Ramon, who is the youngest, guarded the orbs of the life circle
along with Laizer.
Because Ramon was still young, Elgird, Zentar, and Laizer became his
teachers as long as he is still the chosen fourth elder of the Mystic Kingdom.
The kingdom was always peaceful with no threat brought upon them, until
that fateful day…

As Ramon entered the chamber of the life circle, he gazed upon the
magnificent orbs of six, the ruby, the sapphire, the diamond, the emerald, the
orb of time, and the orb of darkness.
They all rotated in circles around a miniature copy of the palace that
stood high atop a diamond pillar.
His eyes sparkled in delight, his lips twitched and his mind fogged with
greed. He
wanted the orbs.
He believed that once he had them within his grasp, he would be more
powerful and more experienced than his elder brothers.
As he flew up towards the top of the pillar he reached for them, as if
plucking an apple from its tree, he grabbed the orb of darkness.
Suddenly the chamber’s enchanted glow darkened.
The circle of life stopped in mid-air and a gust of an unknown wind blew.
He heard a voice within his head.
A woman’s voice whispered in his mind, “Release me…”
He opened his palm revealing the orb of darkness and saw within it an
image of a woman, her skin was pale, her hair was black as a ravens feather.
Her eyes were icy gray and her lips red as a rose.
A tiara upon her forehead recognized her as the guardian of the
underworld.

She
tempted Ramon to take the remaining orbs when suddenly Laizer and the other
three elders flew in.
Laizer flew towards Ramon when, suddenly, he was struck down by an
unknown force. Ramon
held up the orb of darkness before him as a gray mist swept over him and his
wings began to darken, until it was the color of raven’s wings.
“Brother!”
Laizer cried out to him.
“What have you done!?”

Ramon
gazed down at them, his brow narrowed down, and his gaze became that of hatred.
“I’m sorry brothers, I just couldn’t help myself.”
His harsh tone of voice shocked his elder brothers.
“Now that I have the orbs, I will destroy this kingdom and create one
of my own." The chamber was then filled with his maniacal laughter. Within
the orb, the dark shadow of the woman began the smile. Ramon summoned for
her release as an unknown blast hit the diamond pillar shattering it to
pieces. The other orbs began to fall from their orbit. Seeing that
Laizer was too hurt to save the other orbs, Elgrid flew towards them and caught
each and everyone of them.
Do not let them get away!! The woman's voice screamed through
Ramon's mind. His head almost feeling like exploding he dropped the orb of
darkness. "NOOOO!" He cried as he attempted to go after
it. The chamber walls began to fall apart. Elgrid took hold of the
orbs as Zentar helped Laizer upon his feet and flew out of the chambers.
Laizer looked back to see Ramon standing by the shattered pillar looking for the
orb when suddenly the walls collapsed over him. "RAMON!!"
He struggled to be free from Zentar's grasp.
"It's no use Laizer! He's gone." Zentar said.
"Now that the life circle has been destroyed, we must leave at once!"
"Where will we go, Zentar?" Elgrid asked. "Our planet
will be destroyed with us along with it!" As they neared the exit of
the kingdom, the ground beneath them began to rumble. Many of the
draconians fled the palace with the elders leading them out. Zentar then
remembered something that was told to him by his father.
"Come." Zentar said. The draconians followed along with
his confused brothers. "My father once told me of a hidden palace
beneath the Gragarian hilltops. We must find it. It will take us to
the blue planet." He pointed towards the shining blue planet above
them. They fled towards the hilltops disappearing into a small cave.
Gaea began to die. Its mountains collapsed and the ground shook and began
to crack, as if the planet was breaking apart. A volcanic erupted from
afar by the mountaintops as red lava engulfed the greenery and the Mystic
Kingdom's marble walls and beautiful gardens. A woman's laughter could be
heard from afar as the land began to die. A rumble was then heard as a
large city, engulfed in some kind of force field emerged from the ground
and hovered for moments. It began to hover higher and higher until it left
the atmosphere and into dark space towards the blue planet.
A dark figure stood atop a safe hilltop overlooking the object that flew towards
the blue planet. We will follow. The same woman said within
the figure's mind. His dark wings almost torn but still in tact, Ramon
stood by the long dark haired woman.
"Who are you?" Ramon said without glancing towards her.
I am Morlana, the black witch. I am the guardian of the entrance to the
underworld. Do you wish to serve beside me? I can make you a king, a
god. She tempted him. Ramon turned towards her and already she
read his mind. He wanted to be a god. With a reassuring smile
Morlana held out her pale hands to him. He took her hand as they were
suddenly encased in a black bubble as it floated towards the blue planet.
Gaea was left dying, when finally its fresh air disappeared and everything that
had lived was now dead. The planet died slowly as everything turned to
dust and ashes. Gaea became a desolate and uninhabited planet now known as
the blue planets moon.
