| He's the founder and only remaining original member of the newsboys.He's stuck with it since 1985. And it hasn't been easy. From riding in "the fridge", the newsboys first "bus" ,to playing Madison Square Gardens and the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Pete has hung with the newsboys. He was awarded christian music songwriter of the year, and is the author of the ever popular song, "It is You". And despite all his success, he always gives credit where it is due, to the Lord. |

| According to Release magazine Peter met Summer at a bible study in Atlanta,GA. He spent most of his time at the Bible study starring at his future wife and then asked her out on a date. He called her the day after their first date and asked her out again for lunch.(and now my favorite part) He left his sunglasses in her car so that he would have a reason to see her again. She tried to return them, but he wouldn't take them. Not too long after that, the newsboys went back home to Australia. |

| Soon after that, Peter flew back to Atlanta with a bouquet of flowers and a stuffed kangaroo (he held on to all that during a sixteen hour flight!). Once Summer got over the shock of seeing him again he asked her to marry him! And, apparently, she said yes! |
