Aeryn Sun stands at attention before a Military Tribunal: She stands between two armed guards - The leg irons and handcuffs donot interfere with her military stance. She shows no fear as she awaits their verdict on Captain Bialar Crais charges of irreversiblecontamination. She knows she will be executed and she is not afraid - only glad it is finally over...
Her mind wanders back to three days ago on the commerce planet of Nomshada. She, Crichton, D'Argo were meeting with another of Rygel'scontacts for supplies and more importantly, information, maps. Maps to the home worlds of D'Argo, Zhaan and that little Hynerian Slug,Rygel.
She was glad D'Argo was with them, because when the fighting broke out, D'Argo was injured and she talked Crichton into taking him back to thetransport pod, while she covered for them. She had allowed herself to be captured, to insure their escape.
For the thousand's time she asked herself," Why! Didn't I listen to John, when he tried to tell everyone, he didn't like it, some alien,Rygel didn't know, offering to sell them maps! It felt like a set-up!" She understood why the other's refused to believe him and his humanfeelings, this was their chance to obtain maps to their home worlds.
"Chianna", she told herself. A couple of weeks ago she caught Chianna, sitting on John's lap! Again Crichton, ran after her, dumping Chiannaon the ground. Telling her that it wasn't his idea for Chianna to sit in his lap, well not really his idea, they had been talking about someEarth custom called Santa Clause, she just jumped on his lap when he sat down.
She remembered shouting at him, "It is none of my business what YOU and SHE do together, SO OUT OF MY WAY HUMAN!!!" To keep him from followingher, I reached up and gave him a Pantack jab.
It was several arns later when John found me in my room, he was MAD!! He shouted, "That no matter what happens between friends, you don'tknock them unconscious and run away!"
"I didn't RUN AWAY!! I carried you to the medbay so Zhaan could help you" I screamed at him. "Crichton leave me alone!!!! I DON'T WANT TO TALK!!!!"
After that, we avoided each other for the rest of the two weeks, for- tunately that little monster also kept out of my site. We hadn't talkedsince then and when he pulled me aside to tried to explain about his "STUPID HUMAN FEELINGS" I refused to listen to him.
-------------------------------------Officer Aeryn Sun:
Her head jerked up as she heard her name being announced. She knew she would be found contaminated and she would be injected with the toxinsthat would cause her body to endure the sleeping death. She knew that without friends or family members to kill her she would be forced toendure it till her body could no longer tolerated it and finally suc- cumbed to poison in her body, but it could take months, maybe longer.She could feel the fear rising in her stomach, but she would not show it, she was a Peacekeeper and Peacekeeper's showed no fear.Her face was a mask of no emotions, she remembered Crichton always telling her that she had a great poker face. "Why, do my thoughtsalways return to HIM!!!" she thought to herself. She stood there as she heard the verdict being read,
Officer Aeryn Sun:Special Peacekeeper Commando, Icarian Company, Pleisar Regiment.
Your crime by Captain Bialar Crais of being Irreversibly Contaminated is considered to be unsubstanciated, therefore Officer Aeryn Sun you willnot be executed for this crime.
The look on her face as he read the transcript, flashed a single emotion of shock and wariness. Immediately she masked her emotions and continuedstanding, waiting for the rest of the sentence, she knew in her heart, she would not be allowed to walk away from this.
Officer Aeryn Sun, there is the crime of killing and injuring several Peacekeepers since your escape from custody, well as the aiding and abet-ting of known prisoners.
For these crimes, on the morrow you will be injected with a nerotoxin and allowed to die a most long and painful death.
Remove the prisoner!!!

Back in her cell, for an instant, she allows her emotions to flow freely. Quickly, she gain control over them, wiping the tears from her face. Shetells herself, "I'm not crying because I'm afraid to die, but who will take care of John when I am gone. He's so----inept - No - that's not it,He's so vulnerable, Forgive me John for not listening to you." She leans back against the wall with her eyes closed, relieving the memories of thespecial times John and her shared together.She hears the prison guard, probably here to bring me dinner," I'm not hungry!" She continues feeling miserable and missing Crichton, she'ssurprised when she hears the keys jingle in the keyhole. She turns her head towards the door and sees a peacekeeper standing at the doorway, shelook at him and asks "What do you want?" she stares at the peacekeeper, warily.
The Peacekeeper raises the visor on his helmet.
Aeryn jumps ups and rushes into the arms of the Peacekeeper. "Crichton!" She throws her arms around him. "You idiot, What are you doing here? Youwill get yourself killed!" Crichton returns the hug, tears spilling from his eyes,
"God! I thought I lost you!" She and Crichton are hugging, out of the corner of her eye, she spots another Peacekeeper, slowly walking towardsher cell, caring a body. "Crichton, give me the pulse rifle, A Peacekeeper is coming" whisper Aeryn. He blocks the gun from Aeryn."That's Zhaan, shebringing the body of the guard she knocked out. We are going to hog tie him and stuff him in your bed with the covers pulled over, while you getdress in his suit."
As Aeryn is getting dress, they finished shoving the guy under the covers. Zhaan pulls the visor down, begins to step from the room, Crichton reachesfor Aeryn as she snaps on the helmet, closes the visor, John says, "Good thing you guys have a weird sense of protocol, wearing a closed visor, soa peacekeeper will not become contaminated by the prisoners."
They walk out in single file behind Zhaan, with Crichton in the middle. They continue their walk to the hanger where Aeryn's prowler is docked.It's a tight squeeze for the three of them but they manage.
Once the prowler enter Moya's hanger and docks, the ship immediately jumps to starburst. They hear Pilot's voice saying, "We have just star-burst to someplace else."
Pilot turns on the intercom in the hanger, "Welcome back Aeryn Sun, Moya's and I are glad that Crichton's and Zhaan's rescue was successful."
"Thank you, Pilot and Moya." replies Aeryn, into her com-badge.
D'Argo, Rygel, Chianna are waiting for them. All three exit the prowler, Aeryn first. D'Argo grabs Aeryn and crushes her in a bear hug, "Welcomeback peacekeeper. I would have joined them but they couldn't find a uni- form to fit me."
"And we wouldn't been able to take the prowler, either, big guy, It was tight enough squeeze with the three of us" Joked John as he pointed toZhaan, throwing his arms around Aeryn.
"Hummmmf, we will probably be caught because of this!!!" replied Rygel. "I have no intention of spending another 250 years aboard another prisontransport!" "Leave it to our LOVE SICK TECH to run head first into peace- keeper prison, to save a peacekeeper, of all things!!!"
Before anyone could respond to Rygel's outburst about a Love Sick Tech. Chianna shoved Rygel out of the way, he tumbled out of his flying chair.She steps forward placing her hand on Crichton's arm, smiling up at him. Aeryn sees the exchange, pulling herself away from Crichton's arms.
Crichton turned away from Chianna, grabbed Aeryn and holds her still, "Chianna, isn't there something you want to say to Aeryn?"
"Who Me?" as she smiles innocently, "Oh, Welcome back Aeryn!" again she smiles but adds a little smirk to the corner of her mouth, she turns to-wards Crichton, smiles and walks away.
Aeryn, broke loose from Crichton's hold and says, "Thank you for saving my life and caring about me but I'm tired, I am going to my quarters."She pulls completely away from Crichton and heads quickly to her room.
John looks after Aeryn's retreating back as she heads down the hallway, "Damn Chianna, I'm going to kill that Brat!!!"
Crichton takes off after Aeryn, yelling, "Aeryn, stop we need to talk!"

Ratings: PG-13Timeline: Right after the story - Irreversibly Contaminated Spoiler: Continued from Irreversible Contamination, problem is, Chianna's desire to be center of attention, even if the attention is negative. Chianna and Crichton are not quiet friends, as he is trying to be a mentor to her, he can't help feeling sorry for the kid, (he keep's reminding him- self that she is only a kid - just so he can keep himself out of trouble) she reminds him of the teenagers that run the streets back on Earth. She is making life very dif- ficult for him and Aeryn. Chianna is not in love with Crichton, thought she wouldn't mind spending the night with him. "Aftermath" Aeryn Sun hurries down the hallway to her room, she can hear John calling after her, but she refuses to stop. Quickly she turns off her com-badge,turns towards the terrace, all she wants is some peace and quiet. John risked his life to save her and she doesn't want to argue with him aboutChiana.
"Pilot" calls John, "I'm at Aeryn's door, she won't open it, can you open it?" The door opens to Aeryn's quarters,he looks around for a couple ofmircrons, "Pilot, she's not here! Can you tell me where she is?"
"I am sorry John, she must have shut off her com-badge. I am getting no response from her." answers pilot.
"OK, thanks pilot, Can you locate Chianna for me?" ask Crichton
"Chianna is in her quarters, John." answers Pilot.
"Thanks Pilot, I'm going to ring that little brats neck, case anyone is looking for me." replies John as he heads in the direction of Chianna'squarters. "Pilot, at any time Aeryn turns her com-badge back on, can you notify me." ask John.
"Of course John" answers Pilot.
John reaches Chianna's room and begins to bang on the door and yells, "Chianna, open the door, I know your in there, we have to talk LITTLEGIRL!!!!!!"
Chianna opens the door, "What do you want. Why, aren't you with your precious Aeryn?"
"You know why, she's hiding from me, she has turned off her com-badge, I can't find her!" answered John. "So I decided to find you, WHY? Didyou act that way in front of Aeryn?" John looked at her perplexed. "I thought we talked about your attitude, you promised not to cause any-more problems between Aeryn and me."
"I'm really sorry, John, I didn't mean to act the way I did, but that talking toad made me mad, the way he called you a LOVE SICK TECH!" re-plied Chianna. "The way Aeryn looked at Rygel, LIKE SHE REALLY COULDN'T BELIEVE HER EARS!" shouted Chianna.
John laugh, "Ya, I noticed that too, I'm going to have to ring Rygel's neck, why the heck did he have to say that in front of Aeryn?"
"Oh, didn't you know? Rygel and D'Argo decided to let slip about your feelings for Aeryn, they said, if they left it to you to tell her, youwould never get around to it!" giggled Chianna.
"O' really, well, I am going to have to talk with both those guys, but that still doesn't answer why you acted the way you did, we have talkedabout your attitude before, you don't have a crush on me, why let Aeryn think you do?" stated Cricton.
"Oh Crichton, she just make me crazy, with her superior attitude, I have lived in a planet with people like her all my life, why do you think Iran away!!! answered Chianna. "They always hide their feelings, like it was some kind of illness or something! I'm sorry John, I'm really happythat you save her. I just wish she wouldn't act like she is always in control. What's wrong with cutting loose and showing your feelings any-way!!!" Chianna shouts. "How're you going to know your alive if you have to hide your feelings all the time?"
Crichton laughs, "Ya know, you sure have a lot of smarts for being such a young kid, Chianna."
"I'm not that young, John" as she reaches for him.
Crichton grabs her arm, pushes her back, "Oh no, Chianna, no more playing games, guess I was wrong, saying you have a lot of smarts. Just keepout of trouble. I have to go find Aeryn."
Mean while Aeryn has decided, she should talk to Crichton and resolve any problems between them, she owned him that much. She turns on her com-badge and calls Pilot, "Pilot can you tell Crichton, I am heading back to my quarters, if he still wants to talk to me!"
"Certainly Aeryn" answered Pilot.
"John Crichton" calls Pilot.
"Yes Pilot" answers John.
"Aeryn has just informed me that she is heading to her room and asks if you still wish to talk to her, she would meet you there." replied Pilot.
"I'm on my way, Pilot. Hey and don't let her know that I am headed her way, Ok." asked John as he takes off running in the direction of Aeryn'sroom.
"As you wish, John" answers Pilot. ---------------------------------------Epilog:
During the time John is talking to Chianna. D'Argo, Rygel and Zhaan are in the command center talking about Chianna's miserable attitude.

"I still say that we should blast her out the air lock" shouts Rygel."No we can't Rygel" answers Zhaan. "John would never allow it, you know that John has taken on the guardianship of that little Monster" Zhaanreplied with a forced smile.
D'Argo and Rygel, turn their heads towards Zhaan, realizing the extent of Zhaan's displeasure in the young Nebari, Chianna.
"If we can't blast her out the air lock, maybe we can tie her up, then dump her on some planet." stated Rygel.
Zhaan looks at Rygel, "Rygel, why did you say those things in front of Aeryn, about a love sick tech? asked Zhaan?
Rygel looked like he shrunk to half his size, (which almost makes him invisible, which is exactly what he was trying to become - invisible),"It wasn't my idea, D'Argo put me up to it" as he pointed to D'Argo, he moved his flying chair farther away from D'Argo's reach.
"Why you miserable little Hynerian!" D'Argo shouted at Rygel.
"D'Argo, would you like to explain?" asked Zhaan as she stepped in front of Rygel, blocking D'Argo from grabbing the little Hynerian.
"What's to explain, Crichton has indicated several times that he has difficulties in talking to Aeryn!" answered D'Argo. "You saw how Crichtonacted these last few days, I have never seen the human in hyper-rage be- fore, if we did not agree to help save Aeryn's life, I think he wouldhave attacked the peacekeeper prison all by himself." stated D'Argo.
"He's not the only one who acts like he's lost his mind, you see how Aeryn acts when John Crichton gets into trouble." stated the Hynerian.
"Yes, I believe you are both right, but D'Argo and Rygel, you still should not interfere in John and Aeryn's life." answered Zhaan.
"We were not interfering with Crichton and Aeryn, it's that LITTLE MONSTER that is interfering!" stated Rygel. "What are we going to dowith that Brat, you saw what she did to me, knocked me right off my chair!"
"Yes that little brat, needs to be disciplined" complained D'Argo. "I would never allow my son to act in that manner!"
"You are right D'Argo, but you know the only one she listens to is John. I think I should talk to John first and explain our displeasure in thechild and see if he can get her to improve her manners!" stated Zhaan.
D'Argo and Rygel look quickly at each other and state in unison, "Yes! Zhaan."
Zhaan smiles at them both and calls Pilot on her com-badge, "Pilot."
"Yes Zhaan, how can I be of assistance?" replies Pilot.
"Do you know where John is?" asked Zhaan.
"Yes I do, I believe he and Aeryn's are talking in her quarter's, would you like me to call him for you, Zhaan." asked Pilot.
"No thank you Pilot, I can wait till they finish talking." smiles Zhaan.
All three of them look at each other and then break's out laughing as they turn to exit the command center.
