Untitled Part Two

Crichton woke to find himself on the floor next to the couch he slept on.
Bright sunlight was shinning into the room from the large windows over the bed.
"Deja'vu." He mumbled as he stood up, his neck stiff and sore from sleeping on the couch and floor.
"What is Deja'vu?" Asked Aeryn.
John spun around and saw Aeryn walk into the room from the bathroom, her hair still wet from the shower she must have taken.
"Mornin' Aeryn. Deja'vu is something familiar. It was just the sunlight and the room and all, it wasn't really Deja'vu but it is close enough."
"Oh, OK."
Crichton sat down on the couch and started to pull his boots back on.
He had a horrible headache, but he would just have to wait until they got back on Moya to treat it.
"Have you made your decision yet?" Asked Aeryn, she was also putting on her boots.
Crichton sighed, "Not yet. What do you think I should do?"
Aeryn stood up and walked over to him, taking a seat on the couches arm, "It's your decision and you should do the right thing…"
"But? There is a definite but attached to that sentence Aeryn."
"But I don't trust them. They are being too nice and they know who we are. Also, I don't think Naol is telling us the whole truth. She is hiding something from us."
John leaned back and smiled, "What? That's all? No jealousy at all?"
She turned her head and looked at him, "Why in hezmana would I be jealous of that trelk?"
John chuckled; he knew he had struck a cord with that comment, "Nothing Sunshine, nothing at all."
Aeryn quickly glanced at John; she would never admit it to him, or anyone else for that matter, but she liked it when he called her Sunshine.
After a few microns of silence, Aeryn repeated her earlier question, "Have you made your decision yet?"
"D'argo is gonna hate me for this, and everyone else will probably think I'm totally kinkiod, but yes, I'm gonna help them."
Aeryn looked at the floor, "Then I agree with you, you should help them."

"Have you made your decision John Crichton?" Asked Naol as she sat at the head of the council table, all of her advisors in their large chairs that were placed around the table.
"Yeah, I have. Just two things first, either call me Crichton or Commander Crichton, non of this John Crichton dren, go it?"
"I believe we can do that."
Crichton paused for a moment and glanced at Aeryn who stood beside him.
"Yes, I'll do it but Aeryn helps me. If she isn't allowed to then no deal."
This time it was Aeryn's turn to glance at John. Her gaze stayed on him longer and she looked surprised at his request.
Naol just scowled; she didn't like Aeryn because she didn't like Peacekeepers and because Crichton clearly had an interest in the Sebacean.
"All right, we will do that for you Commander Crichton."

After an arn or two more of talks, Aeryn and Crichton were finally able to leave.
John smiled as he watched children playing in a park that they were passing by on their way to the transport.
Aeryn saw him smiling at the kids and couldn't help but smile slightly herself.
"So, what are we going to do about Moya and the others?" Asked Aeryn after a few more microts.
"Well, they probably won't want to stop here while I take care of this. And they can always swing back this way in a few monens to pick me up. So, it's your choice if you want to stay or go."
Aeryn stopped walking when he said that.
John also stopped, "You know, it'll only be a few monens at the most if you go with Moya and the rest of the crew. I'll be fine by myself here. I don't want you to think…"
Aeryn interrupted him; "You once told me that you would never leave me, don't think that I would make you break that promise by not staying here with you."
John broke into a huge grin as he and Aeryn started walking to the transport once again.

"D'argo, listen to us would ya big guy?" Pleaded John to the enraged Luxan.
"Listen to you! You didn't even consult us on this Crichton! Why in hezmana should I listen to you!?!"
John and Aeryn were getting tired of this fast and they didn't have time for it either.
Aeryn decided to try and soften D'argo to their little venture, "D'argo, these people need help. John can help them."
It just went in one ear and right out the other; "And you Aeryn! Of all of us, you should object to this the most! You don't even trust these Sebaceans and you are still agreeing with Crichton!"
John couldn't take it anymore; his fuse was already shortened by his experience with Scorpius and Crais, and more recently T'raltixx; "Frell this D'argo! I'm not a child and can take care of myself! Aeryn and I are going to help these people and you and everyone else on Moya can just come and get us whenever you frelling please! It really doesn't matter to me if you ever come back and get us cause I'm not gonna find Earth anyways!"
With that John stood up, shoved the stool he was using roughly, and stormed out of the Center Chamber.
Everyone froze in astonishment at the normally kind and gentle Human's display of anger.
Pilot came onto the viewer, "I couldn't help but over hear, and Moya and I agree with Commander Crichton. We can always come back by this planet to pick Officer Sun and him up."
"Well I think he is frelling kinkiod." Commented Chiana as she stood up to leave.
Just before she stepped out the door Aeryn quietly said, "Pass it on."
Zhaan and D'argo were puzzled by what Aeryn just said, and Rygel was oblivious as usual.
Chiana turned around, "What did you say?"
"John once told me that he told you to 'pass it on'. You know what I'm talking about Chiana, so why don't you pass it on for a change."

Crichton tossed his old IASA jumpsuit onto the bed where it landed right next to the bag he was packing.
He had gone through all of his possessions, Peacekeeper and IASA, and now had a good amount of clothing packed for his trip.
John snickered at that thought, *Yeah, a trip. To bad, it has to do with the frelling Peacekeepers. If it wasn't I could actually have some fun, maybe even get Aeryn to talk to me some more…*
"Hey."
John smiled at the voice, "Hi Aeryn. I'm almost ready, just need a few more microts, OK?"
"Right. Are you sure you want to do this though?"
John closed his eyes and turned around to face Aeryn, "It's the right thing to do and I think the right thing is the best thing."
John opened up his eyes after another micron.
"I agree."

Half an arn later, Aeryn and Crichton had run all of the pre-flight checks on her Prowler.
Both of them had already placed their bags in the crafts cargo hold.
For some reason the air seemed think and somewhat cold in the docking bay, John shook it off as just his imagination.
D'argo, Zhaan, Chiana, and even Rygel were there to give their two friends fare well and good luck.
After their short good-byes', handshakes, and a blessing from Zhaan, Crichton and Aeryn climbed into the Prowler and powered it up.
John took one last glance at the soft earth toned colors of Moya's interior before leaning back.
For some strange reason he had no rattlers and the sound of the Prowlers hetch drive was oddly soothing to him.
"Are you ready John?" Asked Aeryn, calm as ever.
"Yeah Sunshine, let's get this adventure rocking-n-rolling."
