CHIRSTMAS DELIVERY EPILOGUE
The terrace was quiet when Officer Aeryn Sun entered. She was looking for Crichton and thought this was the best place to find him. She was right. Commander John Crichton was sitting on the floor, his back against the wall. Aeryn wandered over and stood between his legs. John then looked up and smiled at her. He then pulled her down until she was sitting where she had stood moments before. John's strong arms snaked around her and pulled her close. Neither said a word but just looked out at the stars. After five minutes Aeryn broke the silence. "Any regrets?" She asked him. "Regrets about what?" John asked back. Aeryn turned her body so she could see him without loosing contact. "Regrets about staying here?" John slowly smiled, "No, no regrets really. I did the thing that would make me happy and I got what I wanted. "And what was that?" "You Miss Sun," John laughed and then continued, playing with Aeryn's hair as he spoke. "I'll miss Dad, DK and chocolate but there are so many things out here to take its place. DK is married now so we'd never hang out as much and my Dad has his own life. I got to say goodbye to him and tell him that I love him. He said, he was proud with me and was very taken by you. He's happy if I'm happy and I'm definitely happy at the moment." "Won't you miss Earth?" "A little. Remember that saying Dad told me, well my heart is in space. It 's with Moya, Pilot, Zhaan, Chiana, D'Argo, even Rygel and especially with you. This is where I would want to be. Dad understands that and wishes me well. And anyway we've got the whole uncharted region to explore." One of Aeryn's radiant smiles had appeared half way through John's speech and he thought of a way to get rid of it. He claimed her lips with his own and sent her a message of pure love that neither would forget.
