Rating: strong PG13 for violence and language, Action/Drama

Disclaimer: I hate to say this, but I don't own a single stroke of genius of FarScape. I do own the character Lt. Talyn Rac who is now Talyn Sun Jr., I don't own the name Talyn Sun though, that is another stroke of genius on FarScape's part. Back to the disclaimer, all things FarScape don't belong to me, yada, yada, yada, you get the point.

Archiving: Just keep my name with it and tell me where you're putting it.

Notes: If you haven't read my previous FarScape fic's, you will need to to understand many things. The title is "Lieutenant Talyn Rac" and it has ten chapters. If you don't read it first, you will get the wrong idea about some things done and said. Hope you enjoy.

John jogged down one of Moya's several tiers. Another nights sleep had once again been lost to his nightmares. He wasn't running from them, he just figured it was a good way to get out some of his pent-up energy from the past several weeks. Although he had been captured, tortured, and that he had even murdered, he tried to go on with his every day life on the living ship. As he sorted out his thoughts, he came to one of his favorites; Aeryn. John slowed down to a stop and leaned against the bulkhead. He was still trying to figure out that look she had in her eyes when they prepared to over take the Peace Keeper captain. Then it hit him; that look in her eyes was self-doubt. John should have expected it; he did expect it. He smiled at how ridiculous it was for Aeryn to feel that way and got up to continue his early morning run. As soon as he stood up, he found himself being pinned against the wall. After a microt or two, his brain registered who had him pinned, Aeryn. "Aer..."

He was cut off when she leaned forward and kissed him deeply. When she pulled away, she had a smile that John didn't recognize on her face. "OK, what brought that on?" "You.", she said casually.

Later that morning, John had everyone onboard gather outside of the center chamber. "What is this all about Crichton?", asked D'argo impatiently as usual. "This my friends, is about family." Everyone exchanged curious glances except for Aeryn; she knew exactly what was going on. Before any of them could speak, John began to explain, "These last few weekens have been hell for all of us and I thought we deserve some good food and fun. Before you guys tell me 'we are running out of food Crichton', I want to remind you all of the two marauders. Yes, it is just food cubes, but there are a lot of them. So, with out further adieu, it's party time!" Just then, the center chamber doors opened to revile a huge table full of all different types of food cubes and several beverages. Everyone walked in awe struck. "Aren't any of you going to dig in?", laughed John as he took a drink of Fellip Nectar.

After several arns of eating and swapping stories of triumph and defeat, everyone except John, Aeryn, and Talyn had wandered off to take care of something. "Hey Talyn, did you have fun?", asked John. "Yes I did.", he said as he got up from his seat and made his way towards command. "The kid is definitely related to you.", said John. "Why do you say that?" "For one thing he doesn't know how to smile.", John said teasingly. Aeryn just threw a food cube at him. John ducked, it barely missing his head. "Well you could at least throw one that isn't green, you know I hate the green ones Sunshine.", he said in mock anger. She saw right through his facade and gave him a brilliant smile. "I know."

After cleaning up their little 'party' as John called it, he and Aeryn headed towards the maintenance bay that held the FarScape One. "All right Aeryn. What is the real deal behind my module.", asked John as they entered the bay. "Nothing, I just didn't have a chance to put it back together. After all, I had to come save you, didn't I?", she said teasingly. "Woa Aeryn, first you make a joke and then in the hall and now you're teasing me more. What happened to you?" "Nothing did." John stopped her short of the workbench, "Talk to me." Suddenly Pilot came over their coms as Moya began to shudder, "Prepare for emergency star-burst." John didn't even have a chance to grab hold of anything except for Aeryn. After everything stopped shaking, Aeryn and John were laying on the floor. "You know Aeryn, we happen to be like this a lot." Aeryn grinned and playfully punched him in the shoulder as she got off of him. "Pilot, what happened?", she asked. "We have picked up a cryptic Peace Keeper message. Moya thought it essential the we star-burst immediately." "We'll be right up Pilot.", John said as Aeryn gave him a hand up.

"OK, it's a big blue, green, and red planet. What's the big deal?" "Moya will not say Crichton. She has deleted part of the message." "Are there any Peace Keepers in the area?" "No, there are none Aeryn Sun." Rygel whizzed in, "That is Larcol, its main trade port is Corlk." "Thank you Mr. Buckwheat for the geography lesson, but the question we need to be asking and answering is, is it safe for us to go down there? We do need parts for Aeryn's Prowler and my module." D'argo growled, "More importantly we need more food other than food cubes." "Sick of the green ones too, eh?", asked John in a joking manner. Everyone just glared at him with the exception of Aeryn; her attention was turned towards the view port.
