ChAPTER 13 cycles earlier -"I hate waste removal""tenth time this cycle I've been re-assigned""any assignment would be better than this"The PK soldiers muttered amongst them selves , and valorek watched as they prepared to remove the dead pilot from the ships systems . Valorek looked away , he hated to see a pilot murdered , all she had wished was to protect the leviathan from a terrible fate . He wouldn't let yet another leviathan be killed in the name of research , by a madman . Crias .....Not again : he and some other peacekeepers weren't going to let this happen .*** *** ***" all systems at full optimum" reported pilot .He sighed , a full weeken had gone by since Aeryn's death & missed her dearly . Crichton had since then regained his ability to speak , blaming himself for what had happened , Crichton spent arns on the terrace .Moyas systems were functioning better than a weeken ago , allthough she was badly burned the medicine the diagnosan had given her was working well , Pilot didn't like to think about it , it was a reminder of Aeryns tragic death .*** *** ***17 arns later"my god this is the worse one yet!""are you sure she isn't dead?""of course, I checked brian functions , there is activity""I had a pulse but I've lost it""get the machine! quickly!"" one , two , three ............ CLEAR!!!!! ................ one , two ,three ...... CLEAR!!""A pulse ! she's still not breathing!""then get the respirator you idiot!"everything was hazy , dizzy ....... BREATH!"she's opened her eyes , can you here me !? do you know who you are?""uuuuuuuuuuh , yeh , uh .....oh my goddess WHERE IS SHE!!!!!!AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"everything started going dark , dark ,dark . slipping , slipping...... away.then , she slipped into a deep ,deep coma . Not to awaken for another half cycle*** *** ***Bleeeeeeeeeeep ,beep , beepTalyn chirped words of comfort to Crias , he too had been shaken by the loss of dear Aeryn sun." Talyn , I will be going down to the commerce planet for supplies, you'll be alright without me ?"bleep beep bip chirup beep"i know , I miss her too ."Crias met the crew of moya down on the planet ,bar Crichton , who was still up on the terrace ."Chiana ! what are you doing !?!" yelled D'Argo , pearing down the tunnelChiana came out looking slightly agrevated "I was , I was only exploring ! I wanna know if there's anything, down there . Anyway , I .... I saw something move .""Chiana , we have no time for exploring , we'll get supplies then go back to moya , Scorpius's command carrier could arrive at any moment" Zhaan tried to sound calm but Chiana had a tendancy to get into trouble , she really wasn't in the mood"But Crias just went down there! I'd better go get him" said Chiana triumphantly and dashed into the tunnel , the others had know choice but to follow*** *** ***Crias could barely see , the wide passages were dimly lit . as he went down the passages they seemed to get wider , and the floor ever damper . He came in to a cavern , an under ground lake , the scene was so peaceful.Crias was about to hit his comm but he thought he saw something move. Crias approached it feeling his way foward in the darkness , something came into the light . Unmistakably a .......... Pilot .It was very small and couldn't have been older than a cycle . It grinned innocently up at him , and giggled .Crias crouched down to look at it , he didn't see the other one coming . Something knocked crias off his feet and he fell flat on his face ."HEY!!!" said a voice , vaguely familiar " HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY BABY!!!! what the frell are you doing down here!!!?!!!""what the..""I have a mind to report you! tell me who you are or I'll rip your head off!""Captian Bialar Crias , I didn't mean to do anything...""Crias" the voice hissedsuddenly the room was brighter, and he saw who she wasCrias "Moyas ....... pilot!?! but how did you survive?"She looked cruelly at him "Flattered you remember who you try to kill ; the L'Karians saved , you know they live near to where you dump your "waste" . When I recovered I came here like all the other pilots , YOU! took from their ship ."Moyas first pilot pinned him against the wall . " how did you get here , on command carrier?""no , talyn , moyas son.""MOYAS SON!!! you boarded him ? after all the suffering you've caused is unforgivable , what you did to his mother! does he even know?"shots were fired , blinding lightThe pilot fell to the ground shaking"CRIAS!" bellowed D'Argo "what is happening , who is that and who's the other one!!!!"The younger pilot started crying"that is moyas first pilot! I don't know how she survived , She's injured you frelling Luxan , what did you shoot for!""she attacked you!"Zhaan kneeled next to the pilot and checked her pulse "she will be fine , but she appears to be in pain , D'Argo , I suggest next time you think before you fire or let me handle it! Well someone has to look after the baby one!"the luxan picked it up and tried to comfort it . Stark pressed his comm " Pilot , we're in some kind of cavern , and we found a pilot , she was Moya's first Pilot , is there something everyone's not telling me! I thought you were Moyas only pilot!""It's a long story"" OK , then"*** *** ***(an arn later)"she's coming round" reported Zhaan . the pilot blinked and raised her head , only to realize she was surrounded by a motley bunch of of bipeds , none seemed to be peacekeepers . But they had shot at her , and reminded her of ... no ! one was subacean , Crias! the luxan had her baby"!"oof!!"Pilot elbowed zhaan and backed into a corner , and the others raised guns at her . The other humanoids went to the delvians aid , still pointing their guns at pilot"frell you!"" frell you too for hitting zhaan!!" D'Argo approached the pilot , who backed into the corner even more .The crew were suddenly surrounded , by ten odd pilots"let . her go" said the older male at the front "she didn't do any harm to you ... she didn't did she?"Zhaan rose to her feet holding her stomach "i don't believe she did intend to injure me , she was scared . And , we do not intend to harm you either."" ugh , what IS SHE DOING!!!?!" cried D'Argo , a smaller female backed awaythe older male spoke up again" libbia get back here now!""but I never seen one of them befeerr! I were just 'avin' a sniff , frell , i were born down 'ere never come up to the serface a'fore !" she added "moody" and crawled behind the male*** *** *****"Zhaan why the hell did you get me from moya , down here just to see ... a hole.""Crichton, follow me I have somthing to show you"a quarter of an arn later" you want to show me a lake?"" no not the lake , john , its occupants"a pilot slipped out of the lake "Zhaan told me you're human . I was moyas pilot""but ? she died.""no John , theL'Karians saved me , they have that kind of advanced technology ."They were walking , crichton was , the pilot cralwed as well as a pilot could : along the side of the lake"when a pilot is bonded to a leviathan , we give up our identitys , our names to service the ship , Crias broke the bond between me and moya , so i started using my name agian : Taeya-feyth , but you can call me Taeya if you like"she allmost sounds english , with that accent thought crichton"these are the other pilots that live here : thats Libbia ""Wha'er you!""I'm human" siad crichton , and he smiled at her"I never 'eard of your lot ""well , my home's along way from here , I don't even know how to get there""do ya miss it?""yeah "" this is my 'ome . I never bin to the pilot home world but I'd like to some day"Taeya continued "thats my husband S'Vakk , he's holding my daughter , Kapekk "CHAPTER 2Back on Moya....."I still can't understand how she survived" siad pilot in amazment"anyways , Taeya siad she'd like to come visit Moya , I siad I'd let her know after asking you" Crichton leaned over pilots consell ."very well , Moya is over joyed that her old pilot isn't dead , she says yes"*Moya , you won't abandone me , to be re-joined with Taeya will you?"*NO! Moya not do that . Moya miss old pilot but no want be seperated from you! Just want see her ,**See that! look pilot! transmission from another leviathan!*"moya has recieved a transmission from another leviathan , she wishes to talk to it""right we've got it pilot" answered crichton"Moya has also picked up from the transport pod , she has allowed it to dock"*** *** ***"frell , D'ARGO I CANT GET DOWN THESE STEPS!!!" Taeya complained"dren Taeya you wiegh a tonne!""are you calling me fat! hey I'm only 250 kilograms""250!?! CHIANA !!!! HELP ME GET HER DOWN THE STEPS!!!!!!!"Chiana and D'Argo hauled Taeya down the steps but dropped her half way , resulting the three fell down the rest of the steps . the pilot landing on top of D'Argo ."ugh! get off of me before you crush me to death!"Taeya rolled off until she was on her back"fine , I'm off you but now I'm stuck on my back , AND , you've Libbia, S'Vakk and Kapekk to do so get a move on you stupid Luxan!!"D'Argo got up and rubbed his chest*there has to be something broken , frell! *He got up and stormed into the transport pod and muttered somthing in Luxan"I think I'll carry kapekk" siad chiana ,and then dashed up steps"You'll need some extra help!" taeya called after chiana " with S'Vakk is three times my wieght!" and chiana groaned*** *** ***The den:" Hey pilot." siad John in a less than usual tone (still mournig aeryn , blaming him self .) "this is Taeya, Moya's first pilot as ya know . thats Libbia"Libbia was dangerously leaning over the edge of the bridgeTaeya grabbed her at the scruff of the neck and pulled her back"Lib what the frell do you think your doing! you could of gotten your self killed! NEVER! do that again""yeh but wha's down therrrr?""nothing of yer concern . go to command and don't touch anything ok!""yes taeya ." Libbia turned and headed for the door , muttering in the ancient language"Libbia never say that agian , it's not very nice, when we go back I'll tell your mother and you will be grounded yong lady!"Libbia wnet in the opposite direction as soon as the door closed , and smiled ,*this is gonna be fun*Taeya turned to pilot "sorry about , she can be a real pain somtimes so , how's moya?""Moya is fine , and . She just picked up a trans mission from another Leviathan"*** *** ***Command:"Attention" announced pilot "moya has picked up a transmission from a Leviathan , it is ashoring us that it poses no threat""OK, pilot , put it on screen" siad Cricton , captian pichard stylean image flickered onto the view screen"yo, can I talk to the pilot""yes""well , me and Ckessel don't have anything to do so d'ya wanna playing dodge the asteriod!"*play game! fun!"* Moya , it's dangerous , you could get hurt** but fun ! ** o , moya , honestly , it's not a good idea**Moya chased by peackeepers , not afriad , enjoy while safe! so play*"Moya says yes." Pilot comfirmed , he disliked the idea .Moya entered the atseriod at top spead , she had to be alert , any moment she could go head first into one of the moons. As she entered the very heart of the asteriod dust started to cloud her scences , Moya occasionally hit the smaller asteriods thet weren't threat. Inside moya the crew were being thrown agianst the walls"Pilot tel Moya to slow down , I feel sick!" siad chiana who was pinned to the wall "Pilot hated being thrown about like this , the sudden movment jolted him . But nearly crashing into the moons and asteriods , was sort of fun , but terrifying , he started to enjoy it.Ckessel's Pilot contacted moya"Heyya pilot , starting to injoy it! hope you don't get space sick ..... Whoa! nearly hit a moon!!""actually I'm starting to enjoy it ""look a moon with an atmosphere , we're going to do a low level manoover!""where!""the one right in front of you"Ckessal went deep into the atmosphere , too deep!!!! she doomed up again , out of the atmosphere and hit a large asteriod , she bounced off and back into the atmosphere .Moya stopped dead , inside the crew were thrown agianst a wall hard , they all passed out.....*** *** ***CHAPTER 3Ckessals pilot woke up , everything was blury . Ckessal . Gravity!!!! She , panicked and sent a distress call to any ships in the area . The ships exterior was badly damaged, Ckessal clearly had landed in a bog because , Pilot was waist deep in mud , Ckessal had a pucture and the mud level rising at frightening speed.****** **** ****Crichton opened his eyes "oh , god what was moya thinking she nearly got us killed . Frell my head is killing me""tell me about it," it was aeryn, she helped him up "D'Argo's OK , he's in sick looking after zhaan,""is she OK what happened?""S'Vakk landed on her when moya stopped ,"Sick bay:Taeya woke up "Zhaan , where's my baby?""she's fine , chiana's looking after her . You need to rest , It was lucky you'd just got out of the den when moya lurched , you could've fallen off the bridge . S'Vakk's with chiana.""then , where's Libbia?""oh , no"*** *** ***CHAPTER 3Moya , tier 23:"I think she could be on top tier , she's one to find mischief"Taeya and Zhaan reached the top tier , which was full of junk left by the peacekeepers"Lib! Libbia , can you here me!?"#"over here!" siad a muffled vioce , Libbia was under a huge pile debris. Taeya and Zhaan started digging her out ."Libbia , didn't I tell you to go to command?" Taeya siad sternly"yeh , but .. I ttook the scenic rou'e! Any'ows , learned my lesson an' I won't never do it agian," Libbia smiled and looked at the ground smugly "an' I found this" She held a gold chian braclet"Oh, thats mine" siad taeya and took it of Libbia "I've been lookin' for this for 24 cycles! I started thinking I left it back home.""so , is ev'ryone awright?""yes , the others are fine , no thanks to moya but I wouldn't think she ment to harm anyone."Zhaan pressed her comm "Pilot , Pilot?"(the others in chorus) "oh , no""meet ya in the den , in , say a quarter of an arn" siad Taeya , screwing her nose up "lets just hope there's not too much damage.They reached but the door wouldn't open , Zhaan and Libbia couldn't get to budge . When Taeya cought she easily opened it"see , all ya do is push that red button there and , then the blue one . But I wouldn't think you two weaklings could open it anyway"Libbia just gave her a look that siad *thats not even funny , now im insulted*Zhaan , hurried up to pilot and lifted his chin up "pilot , are you OK?""uuuuurgh""I take that as a no , do you hurt anywhere""uuuuuum , My neck""let me 'av a look" siad Taeya "I bet it's dislocated , nothing I can't fix" She struck pilot in the back of the neck"ooof!""feel better?""yes , thank you , but did it have to hurt that much ?""yup! Oh , um Pilot , . there's somthing I left under the consol a few cycles ago , could you get it fot me ?""of course" Pilot started digging around under the consol "is this it ?""no , thats not mine." Taeya went bright purple " I don't know how that got there"Pilot held up a strange eight legged creature , that was hairy and black"yuech! what is that !""I don't know, it must have come on to moya , via a transport or somethingCrichton came in " where'd you get the spider from?""is that what it is , I've never heard of it"Several spiders : broken DRD's , small fury creatures , spiders , chocolate bar rappers ("how did that get there! it's probably crichtons"), micro-chips later he picked up small with with some writing on it"it says .... keep your thieving little claws off this! Taeya's box , keep out or you don't even want to know what I'll do to you.... Charming""thanks , there's somthing else as well" Pilot groaned and stuck his claw under the consol , and handed Taeya a small book"it's my diary"Crichton stared at her "oh, my God Taeya what did you put under there! We'll probably find a spare frag cannon under there!"*** *** ***CHAPTER 4A L'Karian cruiser struggled to pull th leviathan out of the bog , another was sucking out the mud. As soon as the mude was less than waist deep four started wading in , heading towards the pilots chamber. Tyuio dug the mud out from around the door , he and the others managed to force it open, and rushed towards the pilot . Wythdyiagog checked her pulse , still alive. The pilot sucked in a breath , and coughed" ugh , what happened?""Ckessal crashed into a planet and ended up in a bog, we are atempting to get her back onto orbit"The cruiser dragged Ckessal up out of the atmosphere and into orbit , her sensors showed another Leviathans presance, and hailed.*Moya OK?**Moya fine but crew hurt! Pilot hurt but OK now!**sorry**but Taeya not happy*"Oh well done you naerly got us killed!" Taeya scolded Ckessals pilot"I didn't mean to, neather did Ckessal... we were only messin' around""indoing so you nearly got Moya killed..." Taeya started yelling at her in her native language , Ckessal starbursted hastely.Crichton gave her a look "what did you say? wiat , do I even want to know? you gave her the third degree didn't you!"""No, Taeya why did you say that for!" Said Pilot"she deserved it , it was her fault . Oh , prepare a transport pod , I'm going home " She scooped up Kapekk and left the chamber.***************************************************The transport left the hanger , and headed towards the planet, an arn later it docked .Crichton came out looking releaved , and went straight to Pilot's chamber."so , what do you think of Taeya?""she's Ok.""OK!?! She drove ,me up the wall, never shut up about her own problems.""I know, how did Moya cope 21 cycles with her !........ Oh , moya says I shouldn't insult her""hell, Who cares..... Kapekk was cute though"There was a pause" I miss Aeryn"Crichton put his hand on pilots shoulder "I know"THE END (for now!)
