Love a forbidden word
What does it even mean?

For easy letter
Yet such a complicated though.

I was trained to fight
To ignore emotions

So many lost moments
So many near deaths.

Yet still I pull away
Shielded by arrogance and disdain

He has been my friend.
My comforter.

Still I turn from him.
Never admitting my heart.

Love, a forbidden word
I may refuse to say it.

I know the truth.
It scares me.
