Project Saab 900 turbo/APC

My son on Father day 2002 presented me the title to a Saab 900 turbo  and said Happy Fathers day Dad so this is the story start to finish of the SAAB project i decide to have this only for friends to view and if some one happens appond this page maybe we can share info about Saab and or Car restoration . Condition of this car is its in good shape really. little surface rust nothing some sand paper and paint can't take care of . Small amount of engine work needs to be done but this car runs as is without doing a thing . I meet a group on the net that have given me allot of good info .   I thank them !

The car as it is now i hope you  notice my friend sitting beside it. Yes if you said that is a wolf you are correct he will have a great deal in the way the car looks when it is done as far as looks .

Little more about the car now its a stock 1984 Saab 900 turbo/APC 121.1 cu.in. 2.0 liter over head cam fuel injected  turbo charged          with a 5 speed manual Transaxel .

Being a mechanic some of the first things i noticed on the Saab is the engine sit in reverse to most other cars Number one is to the bulkhead(Firewall)                                      the transaxel sits directly below the engine

A large share of the work is going to be on the Body and inside the car neglect or just age has cracked the paint and rotted the apostery but renewed paint will fix the paint problem and new seat cover will take care of the inside along with some minor  enhancement .

Just a note the car has a Save the Whales bumper sticker on it i agree save the Whales but first i want to save the car . I feel it is a classic in design and workman ship .
