Hong Kong Economic Times is one of the major newspaper in Hong Kong. According to her research, her readers are having well-above-average educational background and social status. In early 1998 she had written some topical articles on "Women's and Men's roles". I follow her invitation and had written the below comment in order to promote our fashion choice.

Like your articles about 'Roles of 2 Genders' very much!

Yet, the society still mainly focus on "Women's Rights" and "Women's New Roles" rather than "New Men's Rights and Roles".

I would say that nowadays, especially in HK environment, being a woman is even easier than being a man. Social status of HK women is in general equal to that of men's. Moreover, the environment is that people are more for the idea to support women to fight for something. For men the society still thinks that they have already had enough. BUT, isn't it??

Will you consider write more articles from men's perspective?

I would like to suggest 2 web sites for your reference.

Site 1: Pantyhose - Fashion for Men

http://www.oocities.org/FashionAvenue/4881

This is in echo to the philosophy of 'Body Politic', which your newspaper has written an article on 7 March (as I can recall). Pantyhose (or some other feminine clothing) is not only a fetish. They are in fact very practical clothing for both sex.

Site 2: Everyone should be Equal

http://www.oocities.org/CapitolHill/Senate/4882

This is some little thought towards Human Equality.

I hope this piece of fax can help you (and in turn help us MEN to get more rights).

(It would be much appreciate if you can also check if in HK men are allowed to wear women's clothing.??)

Thank you for your kind attention.

On 24 April 1998 I was finally interviewed with a reporter of the newspaper. She came from the featured page. Hopefully the article would be published in early May. I will surely translate and post it here!
