I bought mine in 1998 and its model was EE330, out of stock now. I am still
using it when I update this page in Nov 2002. It still works very good for
the more-than-4-year period! It cost around US$80 that time.
The following is the extract of the instruction of my epilator. I hope that this information can help you to make a decision on your choice of leg shaving method.

- The Silk-Epil comfort is equipped with a high-precision epilation system designed to ensure more comforatble hair removal. It offers 4 setting combinations to adapt the epilation procedure to your individual needs in removing both normal and fine hair.
- All methods of hair removal at the roots can lead to minor skin injuries and in-growing hairs. All micro-injuries caused by plucking hairs may lead to inflammation through the penetration of bacteria into the skin.
- Thoroughly cleaning the tweezer head before each use minimizes the risk of infection.
- The epilator may not be suitable for: eczema, wounds, inflamed skin reactions such as folliculitis (purulent hair follicles) and varicose veins; around moles; reduced immunity of the skin e.g. diabetes mellitus,during pregnancy, Raynaud's disease; haemophilia or immune deficiency.
- For legs only, not advisable to use it on other body areas.
- A full charge of 16 hours allows you to use the Silk-epil for approximately 30 minutes without the cord.
- Do not expose the appliance to temperature below 0 or above 40 degree C for longer periods. Ideal recharging temperature range is between 15-35 degree C.
- Removing hair on your legs is fast and thorough with the Silk-epil comfort. Even very short hairs (as short as 0.5mm in length) will be removed by the tweezers.
