NAUSEA from L.A. were the great TERRORIZER brothers! first because they were Oscar Garcia and Jesse Pintado playing in, back in 1987/88, ...then because NAUSEA and TERRORIZER shared the same rehearsal room. I know that Jesse Pintado has written also some songs with them, but it wasn't a permanent member as Oscar. It’s often heard from Jesse Pintado himself that NAUSEA was a "more punk version of Terrorizer"... Yeah, but who were also in that band? To my knowledge, the drummer since the beginning was a guy called Mr. Blastbeat. .....I hardly suppose that Mr. Blastbeat was just Eric Castro, the permanent band drummer until 1992. Did NAUSEA and TERRORIZER share the bass player? (a guy called Garvey). Sincerely, I don’t know. I know that in 1991 they shared bass player with their new brothers EXCRUCIATING TERROR, a new downtuned band coming out in the L.A. scene for a whirwind struggle! Today, thanks to Jerry Flores, guitar axe-man from L.A.’s Excruciating Terror, I know that Armando his a really close friend of him, and they play in some project band right now... There is also some implication with L.A. new hardcore band STAPLED SHUT! Let’s see... for now you can check out all the stuff from the Excruciating Terror, they have 2 CD’s out and some great 7 inches! For their info, check their fan page on my related links.
