| Family: I live with my dad, Don, my mom, Traci, and my two younger sisters, Megan and Michaela, in a little 3 bedroom house in Western North Carolina. We have a dog, Shadow, 3 cats, Samantha (my baby!), Melissa and Zoe and my 4 turtles, Dribble, Flip, Bitsy and Slider II. |

| School: I'm 17 years old, a Senior in high school (freedom is so close, yet so far...) and I'm homeschooled. I will be going to Mars Hill college in the fall on both athletic and acidemic scholarships. Graduate in 2004! |
| Sportz: I play fastpitch softball and eat, sleep and breath it! I was basically born into the sport and I've played it since I could first stand on my own two feet. I'm a pitcher and I can't get enough of it! I just love the feeling of total control when I'm on the mound, and knowing I have the power over the fate of the hitter's at-bat. I love being the center of attention too. Pitching just fits my personality, I'll be the first to admit that. I also snowboard during the offseason (when I'm not working out or pitching and hitting indoors of course) at our local resort. This will be my 4th season of boarding and I ride a Burton racing board. Snowboarding is an awesome past time and a great sport if you just let go and do it. I've learned that if you just go for it and try the jumps and the tricks and all that, then you have more fun. |

| My Car: I drive a Honda Prelude, shiney metallic green, spolier, euro tail lights, sun roof, all that cool stuff. I named him Franky and even though I struggled to learn how to drive him (He's a 5-speed and the first stick shift I've ever driven) it was so worth it! I love my car!!! | Hobbies: I have a lot of other hobbies besides sports. And one of my favorite hobbies is writing. I write novels, short stories, poems and I'm really into journaling. I also like to read and some of my favorite books are "Pride and Prejeduce," "Sense and Sensibility" and "Emma" by Jane Austin and "Little Women" by Louise May Alcott. On a more serious note, I enjoyed reading "The Chosen" and "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. And as for mysteries (my favorite catagory) I love the "Cat Who..." series. I also like poetry and you can check out some of my favorite peoms by clicking on the book: My other hobbies include: web page building (obviously), listening to music, scrapbooking, talking on the phone, watching movies, working (I work at a movie theatre so it's fun) and jewelry making.
