| Sorry it took so long for this review to come up, but jesus christ, business is murder. You guys wont get another point of view like the last show we reviewed but just know that Sam Haines was in attendance and that he agrees with me 99.99 % with me on this. THIS SHOW WAS FUCKING AWESOME! Being open minded to all sorts of music I am a fan and Ska and Knitting Factory held this two day festival in which the first day was all punk and the second all ska. I went with Sam the second day becuase once again work screwed me over, but good for us anyways. The bands in attendance ( The Rudy Crew, Skull -A- Ball, Ruder Than You/Scorchers, Bigger Thomas, The Insteps/ Coulie Ranx, Inspecter 7 ... ill try to get sites to these bands and link them quickly) all gave performances that had me screaming yeh after every song. Although its Ska and hard moshing isnt really an option, the pit was still cool cuz it was like a rainbow of nationality and styles skanking as one. At the End of the night I must have lost like 50 pounds and gain 158 more muscles on my legs alone cause skanking for over 4 hours strait make arobics look like shit. I cant enphasize how good it was to see Inspector 7 reunite for atleast one show and how good bigger Thomas sounded, fuck that.. how good all the bands sounded. Good Location, Good drinks, Good friends, Good pit, Good Music, Hot chicks, Thumbs up bitches ! Sorry if you guys wanted a longer review but im thrashed .... (VICTIM OUT) |
