Bristol has current race dates for TRAC in May and July (2003), but those dates are still very tentative.(TracNews)(03-16-02)

Sam Cole from TRAC told me that they will be redoing thier website,(e-mail 3/11/02)
Charles Jeter (Vice President of Competition for TRAC) told me that the tracks that TRAC will attend will be between .5 miles and 2 miles in length.(e-mail,2/25/02)

I was told by Charles Jeter (Vice President of Competition for TRAC) today that the engine size is still in the undecided stage,he said that TRAC was 100% sure the cars would be feul injected. He also told me that the car makes would be announced later this year.(e-mail,2/25/02)

I was told today from an anonymous person that TRAC will run a 20 race season in 2003.There will be 10 teams, and each team will have 3 cars. The ten teams will race together in every race. The total number of cars on the track will be 30, and unlike IROC, the teams will be able to make thier own adjustments on the cars.(e-mail,2/24/02)

The cars will be more like IROC cars then NASCAR models, they will be made of a composite material, and weigh in at 2800lbs.(Frontstretch.com)(02-02-02)

TRAC will race three different car models in the 2003 season. The cars will be well known American muscle cars, (TRACzone.com)(01-22-02). I’m guessing Chevy Monte Carlo, Ford Mustang, and the Pontiac Grand Prix. Although they may not want two GM brand cars if not I'd have to go with Dodge. At least that’s what I think of when they say "well known American muscle cars”, but I haven’t seen anything about Fords, or Dodges being in the mix.

The cars they are mentioning and rumoring about now are Chevy, Honda, Toyota, and Lexus. Keep in mind that no models are official yet.(TRACzone.com)(01-16-02)

TRAC's first official licensee is Dallas-based Drew Pearson Marketing, The agreement will include an exclusive license for headwear for the league and it’s teams.(traczone.com)(01-16-02).

The cars are being built by Riley & Scott Race Car Engineering in Indianapolis, Ind. The first cars were tested in the wind tunnel at Langley Air Force base in Virginia last month. (Results and photos will be released soon)(TRACzone.com)(01-16-02).
