My Girls

This is Floyd.  She was bought for me as a birthday present, when we got her she was eight weeks old and we guess her birthday to be August 2001 sometime.  At the time we didn't know that rats are supposed to be kept in groups of two or more!  Floyd scampered over the Rainbow Bridge on 15 June 2003 - she is very much missed but will never be forgotten .

So along came Bailey...we bought Bailey from the same pet shop Floyd came from and were told that she was six weeks old, making her birthday August 2002. Bailey kept attacking Floyd when we put them together - we found out why two weeks later when she gave us a wee surprise.  Bailey has also gone over the bridge.

17 September 2002 Bailey presented us with eight little eepers, two bucks and six does.  We found a home for the bucks, but no-one wanted our does so we kept them. From left to right: Cracker and Bou, Twink, Cream, Mouse and Snowdrop.  All of these girls have gone over the bridge.

February 2003, I happened to be browsing the rat rehoming register when I saw an appeal for a home for three girls who were currently being kept in a garage.  I emailed their owner and a week later these three cuties came to live with us. (Left-Right -  Tikka, Sorbet and Pepper)  All of these girls have gone over the bridge

This two monkeys are Dobby and Winky - they were born on 1st April 2003 and given to me by a friend.  Died 2005.

This is Fudge - she came from Pets at Home.  I'd seen her in a tank on her own for two weeks and I couldn't leave her there!  Fudge has gone over the bridge.
