| Now this picture is in Ohio. (I grew up in Ohio! I won’t bore you with the details because it is truly boring…the details that is.) This photo is at a place called “Old Woman Creek Estuary”. Basically it’s where Old Woman creek dumps into Lake Erie and it was someplace people used to go fishing years ago but somehow the state got hold of the property before someone could build a house on it and turned the whole affair into some sort of sanctuary which is nice but you have to stay on the concrete path which we didn’t but it was cold out and I don’t think anyone wanted to come out and yell at us. Besides we had cameras so that made it ok. I like to tell people that when I was a kid you could pretty much go anywhere and nobody suspected you of being up to anything (unlike today’s kids) but when you got older you became suspicious. Now I’ve found out that if you have a camera with you people may think your nuts but they don’t suspect you. “Hey! What’s that guy doing out in the middle of the swamp? Why he’s some idiot taking pictures!” |
