This was taken some time ago. A winter time scene of Lake Erie at Sherod Park in Vermilion, Ohio. There is no ice but that could be because the pack had been blown away from the southern shore.
This was taken just off Gulf road in Lyndeborough NH this winter. We had a particularly wet snow during the night, the kind that sticks to everything, and in the morning the sun came out. We grabbed our cameras and went for a walk. Both Nancy and I got several good snaps of this particular spot. It was a productive morning.
Obviously from the same morning, just a little farther down the road, this shot is from the old bridge that goes over Stony brook. When I was sizing this picture for the website and putting a copyright on it I increased the blue.

A spent milkweed pod. Ever since I can remember I used to play with the silky seeds that would spill out of them in the fall. In my mind I'll always hold the memory of feeling them between my fingers.
This was taken from a small parking area by the boat launch at Otter Lake in Greenfield NH. Its a nice picture but of course having to shrink it and reduce the pixtel count you loose so much detail.
This was taken on Rt.31 between Washington and Hillsborough NH.
