Fatkid is a Maintence Electrician with a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in Northeast N.J. He started in the electrical trade with the IBEW for 10 years, and left in 1997 for his current job. He is a certified EMT in NJ and has been doing Volunteer EMS work since 1987. He has been a Volunteer Firefighter/Hazmat Tech. since 2000, and was selected to the Tech Rescue unit in 2002. He does it because as he says"I just love to help people!" He is married with 2 daughters, Victoria and Samantha, and considers himself "The Luckiest Man on the Planet", (if you knew his wife Catherine, you'd understand!) He is a rabid do it yourselfer and together they have tackled many jobs around the house. He made a pact with his wife when they bought their home that they wouldn't pay someone else to do what they could do themselves. Projects done so far: re-arange the whole kitchen and install new cabinets, built a play room for the kids in the basement, added a shower where a closet used to be, remodeled the upstairs bathroom, added a fiberglass column to the front of the house, a paver walkway, fencing, and countless painting jobs(all done by his wife Catherine).He has many interests and loves to read...anything,especially true crime, and Stephen King, and can sometimes be found playing with his family on the beach of Assateague Island, MD.
