Okay so my previous interpretation of the matrix turned out not to work that well in the sequels.
* I never said what the oracle represented.
* I said that Cypher or Smith were Yaldabaoth when we can clearly see Yaldabaoth as The Architect in Reloaded.
* I said that Cypher or Smith could be the devil and he is clearly recognisable as The Merovingian.
I still say that my old theory works perfecly well if you only look at the first movie. Many things are given double meanings in the matrix and the concept of Morpheus, Trinity and Neo as the holy trinity can still work if kept in the context of the first movie.
