Duke Comes Home On Leave


Duke arrived home on leave from the Army on December 22, 2000, and was picked up at Sea-Tac Airport by Frank and Linda.

Stationed in Giessen, Germany since January 1999, Duke spent a total of seven months in Kosovo (from May to December 2000). Moving back from Kosovo to Giessen, Duke flew home from Frankfurt, Germany via London, England.

Duke spent time with his friends, family, talking on the phone, and surfing the net, and we really enjoyed seeing him again.

Christmas Eve was spent at his Uncle Arne and Aunt Patti's home with a family get-together, and New Year's day was spent at his brother Louie's and sister-in-law Jennie's home.

Duke returned to Germany on January 18, 2001, and the time that he was home really went by fast.
