A Sunrise man is recovering after being struck by lightning while fishing in the Everglades.

39-year-old Jeffrey Justice suffered painful burns on the left side of his body in what was the second lightning strike incident in as many days in South Florida.

On Saturday, Colorado newspaper reporter Christopher Anderson died after being struck by lightning on Fort Lauderdale Beach. His girlfriend ---Lynne Allen--- was also struck, but survived.

She says they were taking a last look at the ocean before leaving town.

Allen had known her boyfriend for 15 years and says the full impact of his death hasn't yet hit her. Florida has the title of lightning capital of the U.S. At least four people in South Florida have been killed by lightning since 1997.
