| Bio Gwyneth Paltrow was born in LA to famous parents actress Blythe Danner and director/producer Bruce Paltrow in 1972. When Gwyneth was just 11 years old she and her parents moved to Massachusetts and it was here where she got her early acting training from her parents. In 1991 she quit the Uni of California, where she was majoring in art and history, to persue acting seriously. She started to appear in small role but it was as Emma Woodhouse that Gwyneth would be recognised and was offered the role as Viola in Shakespeare in love which went on to gain her an academey award at the age of 27. Before this role Gwyneth was mainly known for being the girl friend of the gorgeous Brad Pitt. She reportedly broke off their engagment with the reason that neither of them could pursue their career dreams. her next boyfriend was Ben Affleck and they had an on off relation for sometime before they split to become great friends and star in the film Bounce together.
