Name: Mary Marg Helgenberger Bday: 16th November 1958, Fremont, Nebraska, USA Age:46 Height: 5'6'' Bio Marg was born in Fremont to mother Kay Helgenberger and father Hugh Helgenberger. She has a brother and sister called Ann and Curt. Marg attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL She majored in Drama and Speech. She became interested in acting when she won the role of Blanche Dubrois in a college production of A Street Car named Desire. A Scout for Ryans Hope spotted her while she was performing in another college production and offered her a role, but Marg continued with her studies first. She then gained a role once she had completed her degree. She married her husband, actor Alan Rosenberg in 1989 and the two have a son called Hugh 'Hughie' (after Marg's father) Howard Rosenberg, born 21st October 1990. Marg and Alan met in 1984 when he was a guest star in Ryans Hope and the two began dating in 1986. |
