| Name: Naomi Watts Bday: 28th September 1968, Shoreham, Kent, England UK Age: 36 Bio Naomi was born to Miv and Peter Watts in 1968. Her father was a sound engineer to Pink Floyd and he died when Naomi was just 10 years old. Her mother moved Naomi and her brother around, until they eventually settled in Austrailia when Naomi was 14 years old. This was where she began acting. She began to make commercials and appear in small roles. It was at an audition for a bikini commercial where she met her best friend Nicole Kidman. Naomi moved to LA and appear in a few small roles, but didnt gan the success that her best friend encountered. It wasnt until 2001 when David lynch cast her in Mullholland Drive that Hollywood began to take notice of Naomi's talent. This lead her to be cast in The Ring which is what gave Naomi the success and recognition she deserved, however some say that she was overlooked for an Oscar for both roles. An Oscar nomination was finally recieved in 2004 for her role in 21 Grams opposite Sean Penn, but she lost out toCharlize Theron.
