| Name: Shannen Maria Doherty Bday: 12th April 1971, Memphis, Tennessee, USA Age: 33 Height: 5'4'' Distinguishing Features: Tattoo on her right ankle. Bio Shannen was born and raised in a conservative southern baptist upbringing by mother Rosa and dad Tom in 1971. At the age of 7 Shannens family moved to LA. Her first big acting job came at the age of 10 playing Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie with Michael Landon. She went on to appear in many small TV roles, but at the age of 18 she became a household name portraying the bitchy Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210. Although she was now a household name, she gained the stigma of a bad girl and was reportedly let go by her bosses for being late on set and not getting on with the rest of the cast. Many people still associate this image with her now. After being 'let go' she bean to star in film roles in teen films such as Mallrats and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Her next big hit was to be in, suprisingly, another Spelling TV series, Charmed in 1998, playing the oldest of 3 magical sisters Prue Halliwell. In the start the 3 actresses got on fine, but after the 3rd series Shannen (by mutual agreement) was again let go by the producers after there was reported tension on set between Shannen and Alyssa Milano. Shannen was quick to point out in an interview that there was definately no problems between herself and Holly who were friends before Charmed. "She's one of my best friends and i love her dearly." (Shannen on Holly). This didnt stop Shannen as she began to appear in films like Another Day, with then boyfriend and ex Charmed Cast mate Julian McMahon and Satan's School for Girls. Trivia Shannen married Ashly Hamilton in September 1993 but they later divorced in April 1994. In February 2002 Shannen Married Richard Soloman, and although they are not divorced they are separated.
