CLASSICALLY TRAINED CONCERT PIANIST. FAZ UNDERSTANDS SOME BASIC PRODUCTION SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES BUT WOULD RATHER CREATE THAN POLISH. WHAT FAZ IS, AND WHAT FAZ DOES......HE SHOWS MORE INITIATIVE, IMAGINATION AND EAR FOR A MELODY THAN A STACK OF BIG NAME ACTS THAT FILL HIGH STREET STORES WITH THEIR BLAND INOFFENSIVE YET EASILY PALATABLE NONSENSE. HE HAS IMAGINATION..
Forms "The Comets" with Paul Ford, Alan Davies & Ian Davies . Song titles include "British Rail" and "Bognor Bridge is falling Down"
Gets first keyboard and forms "Too Hot" with "Comets" line up. "Too Hot" play a quirky synth and drum machine based sound.
"Too Hot" become "Confession". Nobody listens !
Adi Draper buys an electric guitar and forms "She Chameleon" with Faz. Lasts about a week ! Paul, Adi, Faz and Keith (gigigig) Warren (1 day only) form "Bitter Suite". Adi, Paul, Faz & John Heal rehearse as a full electric band for the first time at Southfields College Youth Wing. Paul and Faz record one off track "Let Me Go" under the name "Symbolics". "I'll be Sym" says Paul ! Faz begins recording old Too Hot material and new solo songs on a 4 track and has them mixed proffessionaly for the first time. Adi, Faz, Paul & John film a rehearsal as "This, That & The Other" playing "Wild Thing" and a thrash version of "We'll Meet Again" ! The band re-unite to rehearse at Southfields with guest vocalist Kemmy. Faz by now has started recording midi sequencer based tracks in a studio and has played live at his 21st birthday party. The "Bitter Suite" line up including John start a long term rehearsal schedule at Stayfree as "Foundation & Empire" To be continued.......

APR - At an auction of bankrupt stock electrical goods which was late starting:- Receptionist "Sorry about the delay, the liquidators haven't arrived yet". Faz - "Can't you start with the TV's and do the kitchen stuff last" !
