| -Please pray for the Tony Joseph family that God would comfort them in their time of loss (Melanie Long and Carla Outlow, 9/9/02) -Please pray for Candice Hembrey that God would comfort her and help her recover. (Carla Outlaw, 9/9/02) -I ask that you please pray for Sandy Butterfield. She is the pastor's wife at Remmel Church of Christ. She was in a car wreck last Thursday along with four other ladies. Sandy, along with a woman named Don Slough, were thrown from the vehicle. Sandy is now in Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and is not in very good condition. Please keep Sandy, the Butterfield family, and the other women who were in the car in your prayers. Mike James has made a website that updates how Sandy is doing daily. If you would like to visit the website it is www.harding.edu/butterfield. (Autum Weaver, 2/15/02) -Please pray for Priscilla Guinn. She is at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and is very sick. The doctors still don't know what is wrong. Pray that she will get better and for the doctors to have wisdom in diagnosing what is wrong. (Michael Snodgrass, 1/14/02) - Priscilla is at home now, going to school, and doing great! 9/9/02 -Please pray for my brother Jason Tufts in Concord, CA. He had emergency surgery 12-20-01. He is only 20 years old, this is a very traumatic thing to happen to someone so young. He is at home if anything happens he must be rushed back to emergency. Please pray that he will not have to undergo another surgery and this procedure has worked. (Janine Engler, 12/22/01) - answered 2/20/02 -That the troops who went to Colorado will be safe and take care of themselves and come home safe after they get back from Egypt! (Ed and Terri Onstott, 10/19/01) - posted on 12/18/01 Answered! - Unspoken email request (unspoken, 9/19/01) -For our country, wisdom for our leaders, and for our military as we most likely will take miliary action. (F.B.C., 9/11/01) - For an amazing turnout at the See You At The Pole Rally at the Cafe on September 16th (5:30pm) and for an even more amazing turnout at SYATP on Wednesday, Sept. 19th (7:00am - at N.H.S. flagpole). (Bible Club and F.B.C., 9/12/01) Answered - the largest SYATP in NHS History! - Pray for God to move in our youth group during revival. (Jeff, 9/12/01) - Pray for our country, its leaders, those who lost loved one's in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. Pray for healing hearts, wisdom for our leaders, and for change of hearts in our enemies. (F.B.C., 9/12/01) - Pray for Cole's family (Robert Curtner's roomate at college) - He died suddenly of cancer last week. (Marion Curtner, 9/7/01) - For strength and wisdom to the four youth in our group that were saved at Centrifuge and also for those who rededicated their lives or were called into a ministry (Jeff, 7/23/01) - For strength for our youth group to carry the fire lit in them at Centrifuge to their community here in Newport (Jeff, 7/23/01) - It is being answered, I can see youth stepping up and being a Christian leader at their schools. - A prayer request was answered that was not on this list! April Tapp (my beloved wife!) was just hired to teach 9th grade English at Newport High School next year! This means she doesn't have to drive back and forth to Jonesboro everyday. Watch out 9th Graders, she's a tough one! (Jeff) Anwered! 5/22/01 - That Coach Pearce and Jeff's bumps, scrapes, and bruises will heal quickly from the car crash they had in St. Louis. (Jeff, 4/28/01) Answered! 5/22/01 - Pray for a chaperone for female chaperone to World Changers (we need one). (Jeff, 4/26/01) Answered! 6/4/01 - Pray for Cole (friend of Robert Curtner) begins chemotherapy for tumors in his brain. (Beverly Tapp, 4/26/01) -- Update: Cole passed away the week of September 7th - Pray for adult chaperones for Hot Hearts and Centrifuge so the youth can attend. (Joe and Beverly Tapp, 4/1/01) Answered! 4/4/01 - Meredith McNeil, Randy McNeil, and Debbie Alexander will be leaving for 14 days to go on a mission trip to Brazil. Remember them in your prayers these next two weeks. They will be leaving on Friday, March 9th. (Jeff, 3/8/01) Answered! - Many of our youth have serious individual prayer needs. Please pray for our youth and that God will answer these needs. (Jeff, 2/23/01) - Staci Alexander's Grandfather (Mrs. Debbie's father) is having trouble with his heart. (Church, 2/19/01) Answered! - That God would send the right godly man to be FBC's Minister of Music. (Anonymous, 2/1/01) Answered! 7/22/01 - Please pray for Meredith McNeil and her mission trip this Spring to Brazil. (Anonymous - 1/27/01) Answered! - That God would bless our mission trip to World Changers. Not only the work that we will do but also that he would bless us spiritually, give us safe travel, & open hearts on our trip. (Jeff - 1/23/01) Answered! 6/23/01 - God's direction for FBC's Youth Ministry - its youth, Sunday School Teachers, Youth Workers, and leadership.
