____   2. Information flyer distributed to Troop 3-4 weeks in advance

____   5. Order tickets or make final reservations

 

____   6. Confirm drivers and seatbelts. Obtain driver license # for tour permit

 

____   7. File Tour Permit with Service Center (Local if less than 500 miles)

 

____   8. Itinerary (plan program)

 

____   9. Food coordination (patrols and/or family units)

 

____   10. Coordinate personal equipment (typically list found in Scout Handbook)

 

____   11. Coordinate Troop equipment (trailer, tents, stoves, cook kits, etc)

 

____   12. Obtain signed permission slip for each minor participant

 

____   13. Medical Forms (if needed)

 

____   14. Record all expenses and submit to Troop Treasurer with list of participants so family accounts can be credited or debited.
