     The much awaiting FCA Cricket tournament is now formally announced..!!

 

        

 

Dear Cricket enthusiast,

FCA (Florida Cricket Association) is conducting a limited overs cricket tournament (20 overs) Ekal Charity Tournament to educate India’s tribal children, will be played amongst different teams starting on Saturday, October 27th 2007 thru mid December 2007.

Ekal Vidyalaya is a project addressing the need of primary education in the remote villages of India. The mission of Ekal movement is to set up one-teacher schools in these tribal villages. There are 25,000 such schools in operation today educating more that 700,000 students.. Goal is to have 100,000 by 2011

Please enroll your team to participate in the FCA Ekal Charity tournament - Fall 2007 and win different trophies in various categories such as winners, runners, man of the match, best all rounder, best bowler, best batsman.

Each team must have a minimum of 11 and maximum of 16 players to enter the tournament. Participation fee is only $25.00 per player and most of the proceeds will go to Ekal Vidyalaya Charity. Any replacement of players during the tournament is strictly NOT permitted. For more information on the rules and other details, please visit www.jaxsports.org

The FCA Executive Committee along with its advisory committee’s will be final and binding to all.

Enroll your team on or before Tuesday, Oct 23rd 2007. The first match is likely to commence on Oct 27th 2007 and the detailed schedule and other information will be provided to the participating team’s captain in the follow-up meeting.
