Lovebirds
A lovebird's perfect day!
A snack of fresh fruits/veggies and a some spray millet. *yum yum*
A free-flight around the living room!
A cool bath on a hot day.
Playtime with their favorite person and favorite toy.
Getting their way A.S.A.P.!
Lovebirds are very curious animals. If they see that you're holding somthing, they will want it, too. If you put somthing new in their cage, they will be afraid,(at first) but later will start exploring it.
My personal advice: Never put you finger in a cage of a lovebird
that you don't know. A lovebird's bite can be extremly painful, especially from an agressive breed...the peach-faced lovebird.
Just because lovebirds are small
birds doesn't mean they can't be
agressive. Lovebirds will bite the toes of other smaller breeds(parakeets, finches, etc.) and their own breed, too.
Flying lovebirds can cause problems. If you have a lot of expensive furniture, lovebirds can easily bump into it..and can injure themselves.
No Copying!
It is not a very good idea to show
other animals, such as cats and dogs, your lovebirds. Other animals can scare your lovebirds. This might create some mental injury.
Somehow, my lovebirds learned how to open the cage door. This is dangerous, so I put locks on their exits.
I personally think lovebirds are really pretty creatures. They come in ALL sorts of colors. From yellow-white to yellow-black. And even rainbow!
