Before you enter my art gallery I would like to introduce myself. I am Remi (a.k.a February). During this summer of 2004, I am working as a portrait artist at one of the amusement parks in California. Although I get paid more if I get another job, I enjoy working and pleasing people by drawing their portraits.
Art is my life and what I do best. Many people tell me that there is no money in the arts. Additionally, they always suggest that I can major in something else; however, separating the arts from my life is similar to taking away my soul. My passion for the arts cannot be described in words because there are no words to express this feeling. I am still a work in progress. I have an AA degree in Design and Media Arts and my next goal is to earn a BA degree in Visual Arts. After achieving my goal, I may work on a MFA degree.
At the moment I have not decided how much I will be selling my works. However, what I know is that for every piece of art I sell, my signature will be included. In addition, for my bead works there will be an authorized authenticity number other than my sign.
