FEEDER LIVE AT ROCK WERCHTER!

Feeder was the third group that performed that day and actually the first decent one...
It was the first time I saw them live and to be honest, I didn't know them very well.  I only knew their latest singles.
But when I think back at their performance, I can still hear Grant singing Just the way I'm feeling and Forget about tomorrow.  It sounded amazing!  His voice was (and is!) great and the band played excellent.  But to my opinion, the crowd was still a bit too 'passive'.
But when they played 'Buck Rogers', you could really see that a lot of people knew the song.  People were singing along, the people standing at the front were dancing and jumping.  It was really cool!

Something I'll also never forget is that Grant was so sympathetic and even a bit humble!  He said it was great that there were listening so many people now (a few years ago, they also played at the festival, but there were only a 200 people listening ...) and he also asked how Radiohead was (they played the day before) and said he loved them and he even called us 'lucky people'.

They played new songs like 'Just the way I'm feeling' , 'Forget about tomorrow' , 'Comfort in sound', 'Come back around', ...
But also older ones like High, My perfect day, Buck Rogers, Turn, Changes,...

The last song they played was 'Descend' and that sounded awesome!

After I saw them live, I almost immediately went to the record shop to buy their album and now, I'm a huge Feeder-fan!  It's amazing how one gig can change your life!
