God sent a precious little angel,
For us to cherish for a short while.
With eyes of blue and rosebud lips
A tiny doll with a soft,sweet smile
.
She had to leave us so suddenly.
And we do not understand these things,
But we know she was an angel fair,
Down here waiting for her wings.
She is in the land of the living now,
Where there is no death or pain.
And although our hearts are broken,
She is our loss and heaven's gain.
Maddie is not dead and gone forever,
She just went to a beautiful land,
With streets of gold and gates of pearls,
And she is cared for by the Master's hand.
She has her beautiful little wings,
And she soared up to heaven above.
Our tiny Maddie is an angel so sweet.
She is surrounded by God's unending love.
