Through painting and drawing, Felix struggles to capture the feelings that come with epiphany. She is obsessed with the experience of "deja-vu," and the nonsensical logic of dreams. In her paintings and drawings, she is trying to convey the weirdness of a moment of time in which you grasp a concept that was previously too large for your mind to hold. To better understand the warp and weft of the world, Felix is seeking connections between things that seem unrelated, looking for the underlying patterns in the universe. Robin "Felix" Eddy is a graduate of Alfred University, where she recieved a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. For the past year she has been painting furniture in Aurora, NY, for a living, and working on her own paintings in her spare time. She is planning to get her masters in fine art in the near future, and in the meantime has been showing work in various venues across the state of NY, and participating in shows as often as possible.
