FERN GULLY FOREST |

Welcome! I'm Elizabeth. I'm originally from Kuching, Malaysia. But now, I'm living in Mackay, Australia. Mackay is a booming town north of Queensland. I met my loving husband, Craig, on the internet. We are very lucky to have found each other in such way. From experience, chat rooms can turn out to be an emotional draining place but I am very grateful to it as I am now a very happy wife and mother. Yes, we have 2 sons, Seumus and Caleb. However, I strongly believe God is the one that blessed us this happiness. I am thankful to Him for always watching over me and my family. "Fern Gully" is my favourite animated movie. It has made a deep impression on me, so I decided to use it as my theme. It is about lives in the rainforest. Therefore, I welcome you to Fern Gully Forest!! |
This is our precious elser son, Seumus. Born 5th December 2000 at 1.26 AM. He weighed 7lb 2oz. He is now 7 years old!! Doesn't seem long ago he was just a wee little thing. |
We took our vows on 22nd July 2000 at Craig's parents' scenic canal home in Queensland. Our Wedding Gallery |

Hi! What do you think of my homepage so far? Now, something about myself. I'm 32 (YUP! ...there's no going back now) . Before I came to Australia, I was a temporary teacher for 3 years. I used to be very active in Scouting. Hopefully one day I'll pick up where I left off (Yeah right!). During my free time, I love to do my craft work. And my most recent passion and also the world's fastest growing hobby.... SCRAPBOOKING!! (a lot of you out there will agree) I personally think it's the most worthwhile hobby ever because we are preserving memories of our past & present for the future. I hate to describe my personality because I have more cons than pros. A bad temper for example...hehe. I thank you all for visiting. Please don't forget to sign my guest book. It'll mean so much to me. My Craft Projects |
This is my husband, Craig. Craig is in the merchant navy. When this picture was taken, he worked 9 weeks aboard an LNG tanker that sailed to Japan . He is now a Marine Pilot of Mackay (it's something he always wanted to do). The coastal coal carrier ship he worked on for 1 1/2 years in Newcastle called "MV Wallarah" had done her last voyage and is now up for sale. It's a great lost to Newcastle as she has been a regular sight on the Hunter River for 16 years. She will always be special to us because we spend a lot of time aboard. Craig is a quiet, funny, patient , loving, affectionate person and crazy about anything to do with ships and tugboats....*rolling my eyes*. He spends his spare time building model boats. You can view pictures of the model boats he built . And he recently started a new hobby, taking photos and collecting photos of ships and tug boats. Craig's Model Boats |

I find it very amazing a lot of people don't know where is Malaysia. This is because of my experience in chat rooms when I introduce myself. The sad thing is they know where Thailand. Malaysia is just right under it! I'm born in Kuching, the 'Cat City', capital city of Sarawak. Sarawak is one of the state of Malaysia. Sarawak is better known as 'Borneo'. The Borneo Island is not part of Malaysia but shared by 2 other countries, Brunei and Indonesia. Have a little tour of Sarawak by clicking on this logo. I hope you enjoy it. |

What Have We Been Up To |
His other obsession will be his sons. Now that Seumus is 7 years old, he prefer NOT to go out with me because all mummy does is SHOP!! Although... he loves movies like I do, so those times are our special time together. |
This is my personal favorite and reliable Voted TOP #8 MOST VISITED WEBSITE |

AUGUST, 2003 We drove up to Newcastle for the day. Craig's model boat club had an indoor show. This even is held every year and is an opportunity for different kinds of modeling clubs to show their passion in their hobbies - model trains, cars, airplanes, dollhouses, boats etc. Of course Seumus refuse to leave. |

OCTOBER, 2003 Our TOTS OF FUN PLAYGROUND, had organised a field trip to the local West Ryde Fire Station, Sydney. It was quite an experience for the little ones. Some younger ones were a bit weary at first but later on had joined their siblings or friend running around the station, climbing the fire truck and handling the water hose. After that we picnic at the nearby park. |

~ Family Holiday, 2003 ~ |
NOVEMBER, 2003 After almost 2 1/2 years, we finally was able to visit my family in Kuching, Malaysia. I thanks God for his blessing. My family really miss Seumus and get to see how much he had grown. Now that he's 3, we hope he will remember more after this visit. We had a wonderful time despite the jet lag. I am surprised it's so much easier to travel with a toddler. We stops for a few days in Singapore and then stayed for a week in Kuching. Not long enough but we keep remember that it's a blessing. Another reason we went on this holiday was to attend my sister's wedding. It was a new experience for Craig & Seumus as it is a very different tradition, compared to Australian wedding. Craig was especially dumb-strucked because it was nothing he expected..hehehe. We thorough enjoyed outselves. |

DECEMBER, 2003 The playgroup had organised a birthday party for a few kids whose birthday falls on the same month of December. Seumus was so thrilled. They had ice-cream cake this year. The following week we had our Christmas party. The playgroup to hire a jumping castle. It was great fun for the kids. It was also our last visit as we were moving to Newcastle. It was a sad departure but the playgroup had been wonderful and warm to us. We'll miss them. |
